Thank you for everything that you've done, thank you for protecting and for bringing anything into my life. Thank you for keeping me alive and mentally sane. Last year really changed my life including my family's life, thank you for keeping my sister alive, thank you for keeping my mom alive, thank you for keeping my dad alive, thank you for keep my other sister alive as well and most importantly thank you for keeping me alive. I have so much to live for and I've realized that life is beautiful, life is full of miracles. Life really does get better, I was feeling suicidal lately over gender dysphoria and something/someone just told me not to do anything that could end my life. I have so much to live for, it's taken me awhile to love and accept myself...I'm still on my journey. There is hope in life, life is so beautiful and every soul is precious and loved. And I hope that anyone that reads this knows that, I love you and just hang in there as hard as you can because you are loved, you are a wonderful human being who has so much to live for. Stand strong. I've suffered for decades, and God would not let me go. He was waiting for me to see that He had always been there. I look back now and realize that He was present every second of my life. His Grace is in everything we look to with love and kindness. Even in struggle, God's love is there reminding us to stand strong. Because we are strong. We are of the same fabric of that beautiful Grace. Believe. Let your faith guide you, no matter how dark the path seems. He promises us we will find glory. My depression has gone now, and I have a peace that I never knew could exist. With constant prayer and these beautiful sounds as my guide I just experienced the most exhilarating feeling of my life. Once I concluded my prayer my body went a tingly sensation, one that I’ve never felt in my existence. It was such a strong yet powerful presence. I knew it was the power of the Holy Spirit raging through my soul. It was the most beautiful experience to this day. It represented hope , trust and guidance. I talk with God everyday, but it is my same voice so I can't tell if it's him or me sometimes. I want God's voice to be different than me so I know for sure it is him speaking....know what I'm saying? A different distinctive voice.
Listen to what you feel. Maybe god’s voice comes through feelings rather than something we can hear. The feelings which give you joy, is God. I hope you have a wonderful journey ahead of you. Look to what makes you feel the most joyful and beautiful.

Just a thought here, but recently I came out of a deep, deep depression. Getting therapy had spiritual benefits for me that I did not foresee. I was never a religious person despite being raised Catholic. I had a moment a few months into it that felt like an enormous spiritual awakening. Something huge came off me. I came to many realizations but I realized that if we're made in the likeness of God, would that not mean we are God? If God is everything, and we're everything, does that not mean Gods voice is your voice? There often felt like two voices in my head, the voice where I'd beat myself up and feel a lot of guilt and shame about who I was, but that was my ego. I attached my identity to the past and to stories about myself and caused myself and others more harm. The voice in you doesn't -sound- different because that IS the voice of God. It's YOU! The part of you that questions and doubts, that's the EGO trying to bring you back to some story driven narrative because that's all it knows. Once you let go of all of it, of everything, that's when the real you is able to appear and take charge of your life
Edward Smith I feel like this is a very common misconception but I see where you are coming from . However , let me ask are you perfect ? In Romans 8:29 it states “ You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” We as human beings sin every single waking moment of our lives . We have all lied, we have all judged . Romans 1:16 “ But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.” These are small examples of the sins we commit daily . We as human beings are built IN THE LIKENESS of God but we are not God himself. God is a perfect being , we are not . God built us to make mistakes, but loving him , repenting our sins is our gateway into Heaven . God made us in his image for us to have the potential to be holy to lead others to Christ , but we can never be Christ himself. I look at it as , being born to your parents, genetics state that you are 50 percent of your father and 50 percent your mother. No matter what genes you get and how hard you try you will never be 100 percent like your mother or father because they created you and your parents have their genes that created them to be who exactly they are . But you are created in your parents image , but you aren’t exactly your parents. God created us to be in his image but no matter what we will never be God himself!
