Max, I prefer the sound of the old one, but there's no debating taste. In addition to the clutch cover having a color difference, are the engine mechanics the same?

2021 sounds deeper to me
I like the 2022 myself
The dual ALWAYS sounds better, and the 450 version has more torque than the single after engine builds, but the single pipe new gen has more HP.
I went with the 2022 Honda CRF450R-S (twin pipe) so XPR Engines could build me a full factory ripper for $5500 plus I gotta save another $1200 on top for the dual Akrapovic exhaust. Perfect match for my built/modified 2019 TM Racing EN300ES 2 stroke with 56-58 RWHP - both are a BLAST! Love the tractable feel of a Honda 450 though, and the traction control is magic! :)

You'll get it buddy...I literally saved 50 something months to but my new 300cc 2 stroke and 450cc 4 stroke! Just keep working out, working hard, and stay focused to keep the dream alive. I'm glad I didn't spend it on recreational adventures cause these two bikes are my best friends (-and I'm poor, but where there is a wil, there is a WAY!).

Cool bikes..all the new 250Fs really. Pick ur color an go! Be prepared to spend near $10k tho. Prices are climbing no end in sight. Till sales fall off a cliff.
If climbing prices are a problem don’t blame the manufacturers remember the value of the bike will never change it is the value of the money that is going in the toilet look to your elected officials
