There was a second MOH recipient for his actions that day. SGT James W Robinson Jr. My high school is named in his honor. I graduated in 1979. His parents donated his MOH to the school. It is still displayed behind the glass, along with his citation right inside the main entrance of the school. RIP. Every April 11th I remind my classmates to remember him and what he sacrificed.
Such a shame the way the USA treated it's soldiers/veterans when those lucky enough to live came home. Think about this and how the US treated them, it's sicking what these poor vets went through on the battlefield and it's even more disturbing when they came back to the USA, the so called land of the free.
Great movie 😭
Sir, you are a hero too...
And god bless Mr. Pits..
The movie is sumn unlike any other war movie. One of the greatest I’ve ever seen
I cried at the end not the middle but the end because just to see that seeing that one man made a huge difference to everyone is amazing
I cried, too
Thank you for making his legacy known all over the world - from Thailand. I cried and cried
The PTSD likely is worse the older the vets get because life and your body slows down and reflection sets in as we reach mortality.
Mr. Navarro. I pray for your peace and solace.
Just saw the movie....If u have served you will enjoy....

Movie was very well done
Jesus I started crying when he took that long deep breath before talking. I could see the hurt in his eyes.
its a shame it took over 30 years for pitts to be recognized with the MOH

Just a foot note...the platoon picture at 1:45 is not an Army unit...that's Marines and Marines were in I Corps not V Corps.
