Rasa Mandala..........means Radha dasyam. The ultimate goal is manjari bhava. You won't find it in the Harvard library. It exists in the heart of the pure devotee of the Lord. It can only come from the heart of the pure devotee. Srila Sridhar Maharaja discussed the comparative philosophies in his book "The Subjective Evolution of Consciousness". Radhanath Swami's philosophy of love is incomplete. There is no perfect peace. Srila Prabhupada defined the Perfect peace. Krishna is God, the one God, Bhagavad Gita is the one book, Vaishnava dharma is the only social principle. Surrender is a mood not an action.
Garuda das...This is the usual ISKCON lecture. Read Bhagavad Gita and repeat what was said. Make up some material examples of ones personal so-called realizations. Intellectualize on what one is thinking, relating these thoughts to transcendental knowledge and make up a story to entertain the audience. This is not a lecture based on what one has heard from a pure devotee of the Lord. The message of the Gita is very deep. We neophytes are swimming on the surface of the ocean of bhakti. In order to dive deeper we need the association of a real pure vaishnava. Because deeper is where we need to go. There is no limit to understanding bhakti. A guide is essential. It is not up to us to create our own version of what we think is being said in the Gita. No harm in your attempt Garuda, but you are only touching the surface. Srila Prabhupada could only give so much to us according to our capacity. Intellectualism is not enough. Degrees in philosophy, sanskrit, world religion, and whatever the materialist come up with will not suffice to enter the deep waters of bhakti. This prema must be given from one who has prema. Srila Prabhupada gave us that pure devotee to hear from in his final days. What did ISKCON do to that pure devotee? They rejected him. Marginalized him. Lied about him. Made propaganda against him. Is this how we treat the pure devotees of the Lord? Garuda? You have not said anything about this treatment. You have said we should never treat other devotees poorly. Well where is your discussion on this grave vaishnava aparadha? Are there only devotees in ISKCON? I think not. Remember go deeper.... Who has been marginalized? His Grace Gour Govinda Maharaja, Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja, His Grace Sulocana, Swarup Damodar Maharaj, His Grace Aindra das, and a host of other devotees banished for having an opinion inconsistent with prevailing dogma. When this reconciliation comes about we might begin to actually understand this deep science and not by words we have memorized from the Gita.
What a wonderful engaging lecture/speaker. I look forward to hearing more from Garuda Dasa.

I here lots of judgement and and implied wronging - by an anonymous shallow name. Detractor, heal thyself.
