VW Amarok Centre Switch Panel Removal and USB Install

Here is how to removal the switch panel surrounding the gear stick, remove the 12v and Cig lighter then replace with USB socket.

Hi, Did you remove/ damage the spring from the 12v flap? It doesn’t appear to spring back in the video. I want to do the same to mine but I wouldn’t want to lose the spring if possible.

Hi Ian, the spring had just dislodged from one side. It has been hooked back on now and springs back fine.

Which colours were negative/ground and positive?

ground is the brown. positive is the black white and is ACC. the last gray is the ambient light.
