Wow, I'd actually forgotten that in one of your other videos, you'd mentioned something about doing 3D modeling/animation in school. I'm going to be going to college for animation too, so more relaxing homework videos like this would be awesome for me. Your videos are so much more relatable and easy to listen to than those boring ol' tutorial videos, anyhow. SwiftPotato oh really? You'll have lots of fun and you'll also want to tear your hair out some days xD It seems people are interested in me doing a Maya 101 video so I think I'll make one in the future, I hope it helps you get a leg up when you start classes :)
I'm in a middle school program and is kinda like this the program is called PLTW and you have to have a 2.0 GPA or higher and I'm in it and we design and build it's so hard to design stuff where designing a toy and it's difficult and I'm in 6th grade

I'm doing 7th grade PLTW currently. We just designed an ankle orthosis for someone with cerebral palsy. It is a fun class. I enjoy it, but it can be difficult...

how long does it take to learn that program, i am looking at all confused lol i mean there is so much options/settings. haha
ValentineManson I started learning in February :) and there are a LOT of settings haha I doubt I will ever understand what every single button does!
The more you practice, the faster you will improve in it :) there are a lot to learn and discovering everything in the program or finding solutions to what you want to achieve won't be easy, but you will get the hang of it the more you practice. And you will achieve it. So good luck :)

Holy crap, nope! (I was being dumb and forgot I was on the internet.) You probably got it at a much lower price for school, right? :) In my last school we got 3DSMax for a year at a time.
Jay Envy haha Maya is actually free if you're a student :) at my school you're given final cut pro, maya, the entire adobe suite, and zbrush for free!
I was just surprised to see such a "basic" (I haven't worked with it so I don't know how in depth it goes) program costs so much money. ;) Also, you use zBrush? I'd like to see a video on that! :D
