Chatting and ignoring dms is so weird, i usually directly jump to the dm, who cares what's happening in the server, someone wants to talk to me for once
Why people don't understand having do not disturb doesn't ping them and the notification doesn't show up?
@@soudruhholub8306 i mean when they're on do not disturb, but are chatting, they can see the dm open up in the upper left corner...
@@temmie9391, again wrong. If they are in many servers and people are pinging everyone in the servers, they wouldn't see the DM chat ping, because they would see "new message if you scroll up" notification. That's reason why they have do not disturb.

I used to be a moderator on a server with over 1.8k people, where the requirements to being staff were very strict. This included at least understanding how the service you are moderating in (discord) works. Your trial mods are pretty terrible man.

When having moderators, you normally look for people who can be there quite often, that can answer without making people wait.. I mean even if it's 1 or 2 minutes it's really cancerous to make people wait
