This video came out 2 days ago, and I've come back like 4-5 times :D I can't say I'm a huge fan of the front grill, but that chimney style fan setup with the psu underneath just looks soooo good!
Wow, just wow... Yesterday I was thinking maybe its not the best idea to plan my next build with a "fishtank" case and now this beauty pops up on my for you page. And those fans are gorgeous as well. Guess I have my new favorite :) Great video as always!
Antec did a great Job with this one. You'll need reverse fans for the bottom mounts if you prefer ARGB, Swafans or even the Cheaper brands on Amazon which have reverse fans and work very well surprisingly enough. Great video!
Great vid. Seriously looking at this for my eatx build. Question: did those little black fan headers at 8:11 come with the case? They look slick. Thanks.
As a former Antec 900 and 1200 owner, I appreciate this 'return to form', but I can't lie...other case manus have improved and innovated in their absence. All my base now belong to Phanteks.. and Fractal Design. 😄
How do you remove the hard drive bay? I'm trying but the damn thumb screws are on to tight and can't get it out. And its too cramped to get a screw driver to remove it forcely. Totally loss on how to get 2 hdds on this case now.
to add, better clearence in all dimensions for rads+fans/aio's in the top - it might have the same space above the mobo that the P500A/etc has, but it does the obvious thing of pushing the mount as close as makes sense towards the side of teh case away from the motherboard.
Nick i'm deciding on a 7800x3D and I would love your advice for a case, since you reviewed them both. H7 Flow or Torrent Compact? (I have 5 Arctic P12 fans if needed too).
Got this case, antec don’t provide the screws to mount the bottom 3 fans & the type of screws needed wasn’t included in the Noctua ones I bought. What a pain.
And there is my problem. Can't decide, but I don't think the mesh in the front would filter enough......I would have to mod a real filter. Does the XL have good filtering on front and bottom......hard to tell from vids and pics.
6:40 - where is front filter? I see only mesh, that is not dust filter. Metal or plastic mesh is not dust filter - its structure is perfect, so it will let through most dust particles. Only fabric is dust filter (thanks to its imperfect structure it stop most of particles) and there is non on the front.
Could of been better if they got rid the back panel being glass it’s all negatives as cables are a nightmare to hide sometimes don’t understand this trend
I think it’s butt ugly. The display, the removable top panel, and the front pullout filter on the PSU basement are nice but not enough to make up for the shortcomings. Those large vertical vanes not only block airflow but would make cleaning the screen difficult. Cleaning from the backside, like suggested in the video, may be ineffective. Plus the mounting structure for the front intake fans are quite intrusive, partially blocking the airflow. I doubt the temps achieved in video could be replicated using only the stock fans. Usually influencers myopically focus only on airflow so it’ll be interesting how this Antec will fare. Nobody tests filtration capabilities so that’s a void an influencer could fill. It’s as if everybody lives in cleanrooms. And it’s the one area that could give a manufacturer a leg up on the competition. Keeping dust at bay means increased longevity of the internal components, which could be a selling point. Dust covered fan blades and blocked radiator fins can’t be good for energy efficiency or longevity so making maintenance easier could be another selling point. Generally companies tout their mesh cases for superior airflow and claim the 1mm hole size for Phanteks and 1.5mm hole size for Lian Li can capture dust but that alone is not enough. Even the $67 Montech AIR 1000 Premium case beats that $160 Antec case. My personal case is a $115 white Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB with the optional (less than $20) front magnetic dust filter but it’s new so I can’t really comment on it except to say that the positive airflow ensures nothing enters that isn’t filtered. Judging by the number of “influencers” that have been showcasing this case, I’d say their advertising is in full swing. The last Antec case I bought was the Dapper Dark Phantom DP301M M-ATX about 8 years ago and while I just saw that everybody is still selling that same exact model, it wasn’t a well engineered case and it appears they’re still making the same mistakes. I suggest these companies relocate their current “engineers” to the assembly or shipping department and find somebody more capable of innovation. They don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Just ensuring those expensive PC components receive a good supply of dust-free air would be a great start. Back to the drawing board Antec.
Where are all the normal LEDs? No HDD light no HDD activity LED, No Power LED. If you walk into the room you can't even tell if it's on or off, weird. Had to add an RGB fan just so I could tell if it powered on. Come on Antec!
My first pc case back in the day was the antec P180. Antec makes great components. Keep up the great work you guys and stay safe.
I'm a former Antec 900, 1200 and P182 owner. I love this case. It may very well be my next case for my next build.
Fantastic video fams, the case looks like a banger. Keep up the hard work
Just picked this up from new egg they got a 20 dollar off coupon 👌 got mine in white 😍
thats a well thought out case they came out with nicely covered guys

Antec is still a good brand after all these years. Just bought some of their 120mm Prism X fans for my new build. Very solid for the price.
cable management seems easy with this case.. i should get one! thx for reviewing it.. regards

Hoooly what a banger design for a comeback.
As usual, awesome video! :)
My first self built system was inside an Antec Sonata II. Great memories...
Front of a Torrent and side of a LanCool 3 :)
Mind-blowing i really love it 🍻 8:34
Great video man! What about the noise? It's really a silent case?
Great vid. Seriously looking at this for my eatx build. Question: did those little black fan headers at 8:11 come with the case? They look slick. Thanks.
I thought this included 120x120x30mm fans, not standard 120x120x20/25mm?
Loved the Antec Sonata back in the day. Built a great Hackintosh system in it.
Damn Antec has dropped a baller case. All their recent cases have been rather average. This one ticks all the boxes tho.
Excellent video fams
Im thinking of buying this pc case
Cool case and rocking to the Velcro song 😋
Antec back in the game! A brand I can trust
This is an odd question but how the heck did you mount fans to the bottom? You need like super long screws or can't put them in from under the shroud.
They are the longer screws, usually referred to as radiator screws. Some of the fan kits will include them.

just place an order for 1 of this in Australia, hopefully it will fit radiator on the bottom fan mount for watercooled built
how in the world are you supposed to to connect the three front fans to the board with how short the cables are
This looks pretty good! What would you prefer, the Performance 1 FT or the NZXT H7 Flow?
I'll take the antec over the H9 flow. Both are really good cases but in my opinion the antec has better thermals and looks alot better also
to add, better clearence in all dimensions for rads+fans/aio's in the top - it might have the same space above the mobo that the P500A/etc has, but it does the obvious thing of pushing the mount as close as makes sense towards the side of teh case away from the motherboard.
Just another case, it reminds me a bit of the Lancool III
Does anyone know how to get the temperature display to work? The iUnity software page seems to be missing.
I’ve never lost faith or hope in Antec! 😂
Thank you sir!
I thought my NZXT H210 was bigger than I thought for my desk, imagine having this to my right LMAO
Where is the bottom 3 fan getting the air from?
The whole bottom is ventilated.
This Antec case is the rolls royce!🎉
ngl I'd love to see Antec bring back the Lanboy Air, or create some sort of spiritual successor to it.
What about noise from included fans?

I ve got the same problem not having the screws for the bottom 3 fans... can I ask what size screw did you get ?
rad screws is what you need
1x8 pin EPS & 4+4 ATX 12v is the same?
Looks good
Hi, can you test if the Arctic Liquid Freezer 420 fit in the front of the case?
I believe you can fit a 420mm in the front, yes.
White version incoming?
Would be killer with the white Fusion fans, vortex 360 (also need a white version) and some TeamForce RGB SSD's on the back.
I saw the white version prototype in this video, ua-cam.com/video/QxmkaA_R3qE/v-deo.html
I got this tower it's great 👍
that screen needed to be on the side. missed ball.
The top is a much better place for it
Just ordered two of them for 135 each. My case before didn’t support a 4090. So I got these 😅
but is it better then my 011-D xl i have now tho

It’s a great case but to big for me but I like it a lot lol 😜👍🏻🤣
Why there only showing one Temperature and Not CPU and GPU at the Same time 🤦
Whit is the name of that aio????
Decisions, decisions. This or Thermaltake Ceres 500?
This
@@GearSeekers reason
7:05 Case=Phanteks NV7 ??
Just a typo
@@GearSeekers No problem, great video as always, was just wondering
Hahaha, you forgot to change the 'Case: Phanteks NV7' annotation at 6:57.
😄😄 true
Typo. It was a long day
@@GearSeekers it happens to the best of us! Great video's man. Always my go-to channel for case reviews and builds!

Easy.......get a spray can of flat black.....and some painters tape. Shiny on the outside........but completly black.
Yaaaaassssss
i thought their p120 crystal was a nice case
I know I am a minority but I need at last one 5.25 bay for my icydock removable drives.. ugh..
The front grill is to be desired tho.

Looks too utilitarian and boring. No personality or flair. Just another oversized black box.
Those are all good things. Just saying.
