I didn't know this limited series was supposed to be followed up by the movie. Yeah then I would agree with you, that 2 years is too far away. I read that Colin Farrell hates wearing that suit and make-up, and it sounded like he wouldn't do it again (but maybe it's just a negotiation tactic for higher pay), so maybe this is just one season. That Sophia Falcone actress was really a high point in this series for me, though. She captivated a lot of the scenes, so much that this wouldn't have been nearly as good with just Oz himself. I should've seen the last scene coming, but I really thought Oz was gonna finish her there, but that would have just soured the series for me if he did. They really found a beautiful way to end it. I also kinda agree with you that Oz is a villain through and through; but part of me still wishes that there was sort of anti-hero element. It would add charm to the character which is what the audience likes, but Oz is a true psycho that cares only about himself. Oz can't die for narrative purposes, but Sophia really hurt him in that scene where she forced his mom to admit the truth. Anyway bro, we got Silo season 2 coming up soon, and Arcane as well.
