Setting out from her home to the fields, she chose to take charge! Meet our Agripreneur who dared, Kamal Kumari, from Sonitpur District. 💪🏻👩🏻‍🌾
Realizing the transformative power of farming, she endeavored to involve more women in this pursuit. With the invaluable support from APART, they together established the Joymoti Farmer Producer Company (FPC) in 2021.
Presently, 435 women from 25 different villages are part of this. Together, they've cultivated 300 bighas of potatoes, 3000 bighas of mustard, and 2000 bighas of pumpkin this year, collectively generating an income of nearly 1 crore rupees.
