Yea this is what I’ve been saying. Everyone thinks it’s because of the actor, Ezra Miller, and how he doesn’t know how to run, but I KNOW there is more to it.
I think, the speed force at his level of experience, he doesn’t use it to run, he uses it to get around quickly. The ground is probably frictionless(or almost). And in a deleted scene, you see Barry tapping on a window at superspeed, walking out, and catching Iris. But while he is moving outside the building, you see his feet 🦶 stepping on the asphalt as if it were cake. This explains how when he runs, he puts his momentum in his arms, and “swings”, himself forward. If he were to run normal(using leg to push forward), he would create these huge holes in the ground, maybe even get stuck. So, I expect in the Flashpoint movie, he learns to harness the speed force to give him his own road. Near the end of the movie, when Barry is running through that city just because he can, if you look at his steps, you see his lighting were his foot was, creating his own “road”, so that he doesn’t make holes.
