I've just done this to my BMW E91 3 series and am super happy with the results! This is a really excellent guide as well (thank you for posting OP!) as this is the only one I've seen where the steering wheel is actually removed to put the cover on, but oh my god I'm so glad I found this and did the same - doing this sat in the drivers seat would have been much more difficult and taken sooooo much longer! If you're going to do this, please just take 20/30 mins to take the steering wheel off and do this sat in your house, it'll actually save you a couple of hours in the long run and you'll get much better results by being able to make the stitching much more even and neat!
@@DaniilVataman I've had the v1 performance steering wheel on since '09 and sold it last year. I miss the alcantara, so yeah I'm about to do it, thanks again.
Looove your videos Daniil🙏Where did you get the new steering wheel cover? I noticed it was a "stock" m-sport one, and suddenly it got some piano black vibes
When you order the wrap it asks for thread color .. what did u pick to get the blue and red ? .. is the thread options the stitching on the actual wrap ? and then it comes with red thread to sew it together ? Sorry for the loaded question
Does this not make the steering wheel too thick? I put this on my old e46 and it made it pretty thick compared to stock. Just wanted to know so I can maybe save some money and get this instead lol
I have ordered exact the same cover and it arrived today. The first impression is good, the quality is also fine and it looks very nice. However, the suede does not feel fluffy but rather rubbery. Almost like a neoprene suit. Is that normal? Does it improve over time or does the "rubbery feeling" stay?
Kind of failing to see the improvement unless you like a big polyester covered pillow on your steering wheel. The BMW M Sport wheel from that era is one of the best steering wheels ever.
I love the stock M Sport wheel, but the leather is peeling. Not sure it's possible to have it reupholstered to OEM spec, this seems like the next best option?
Bruh is it really that easy to remove the push start button on the e90 too?? When I did mine, I had to take out the whole dash trim cause another video I watched said to do it 🤨🤨🤣

Edit is good as always 🥰
Goran Dragojević Thanks my guy! 🙌🏼
I never knew this was an option, DAMN! Thanks! I've had my 1 series for 11 years...this is great. LOL!
Haha thanks for watching, it’s definitely a great mod 👌🏼

Just did this same upgrade myself and am super content with how it looks.
Speedy Gonz just saw yours 👌🏼 Thanks for watching dude
@@DaniilVataman yeah man!! Yours came out dope as well 🔥
Speedy Gonz Thanks! 👊🏼
Great video. Can these coloured buttons be got for an E46? I am looking everywhere but hard to find an answer. Someone please respond thanks!

Damn sick intro!!
Me and my E-Maxx Thank you! 🙏🏼
Damn dude. Little details really add up.
Colyers For sure! Next is exterior 😁

How has the steering wheel held up ? Have you noticed any looseness or wrinkles ? Thanks bro
Sick video bro! I have the same cover too, can be a mission trying to get it on 😅
_supershawn Thank you! And yup, took a few hours! Lol
where did you get that cover?
Nice, I may do this instead of the other $600 option. BTW a 245 front and 265 Rear WILL fit with stock suspension no fender roll. Use 35 tall.
AFM #952 I highly recommend this option! And ok thanks, I recently installed coilovers on the 135i, will look for wheels now! Haha
Only beast cars here!
Valkenier Thanks my dude! 👊🏼 You know it! #BIMMERCLUB haha
looks nice :)
WRBAFILMS Thanks!
Very Nice
Whats the song at the beginning?
Is it the synthetic suede option?
whats the soundtrack at the start ? thanks
Still have the template and could send it by any chance!!???
Will this fit my 2012 128i
Could you make a tutorial video for the editing ? it's awesome as always!! thanks
rNaa That could be a cool idea! I’ll try to in the future 👌🏼 Thanks for recommending
@@DaniilVataman I'd 100% watch that.
where sis you get the gauge cluster from?
Nour Hummadi Custom made, bro! Check my video before this one 😜
Nice to see Nour on other BMW channels 🔥
Rossell Castillo Nour is the homie! Haha

Yeah that is normal, stays the same

Mostly for looks, and I do much more prefer the alcantara feel than the leather

where did u get the carbon fiber part from - does it come as part of the kit?
What carbon fiber?
@@DaniilVataman shown around 2:38 - the gloss part on the inside of the wheel around the airbag

Should be same process! 😂 it’s the same button and part number too
does the cover move if you dont use double sided tape?
Yes it will slightly rotate around if you don’t use the tape
What did you do with the adhesive tape ?
I used it in the area where the spokes are
Where'd you get the dials from?
Eddie G Custom made!
Did they have this for the e46
They do! Check another video on my channel called “E46 M3 first mods” I show the same cover wrap for e46!
I did the same thing but I didn’t take the wheel off so it was a nightmare to do 🤣
Black Wolf SM Oh man, I saw others do that 😂 looks like way more of a hassle than taking the wheel off lol, how long did that take??
Daniil Vataman / BIMMERCLUB 4 hours 😂😂
@@DaniilVataman how long did it take you?
How is the wheel holding up?
It’s still great! Highly recommend it
So which one is it? You posted a link to East Detailing, but then you also posted a link to a MEWANT amazon store?
They’re the same products, if you want more customizability go with East Detailing
@@DaniilVataman Awesome! Thanks!
Closing the aperture a bit adds more information. This was like f/0,95 :D
Dang. Do a review?
Steven Boyko I plan on it when I do a mod list on this car 😁
Daniil Vataman / BIMMERCLUB working on making my 135 this aesthetic. Thanks for the inspiration!
Looks extra thick 😂
Fivas I was actually worried at first that it would be but after install it ended up being perfect. The wrap is pretty thin itself
It is,..... And it looks awful, just my opinion 🤷♂️
