Hello, and thanks for your sharing (and patience with me). Here is another replica I'd love to own too. Specially the version with out the rail. Makes me remember older Pietro Berettas. This one on the video, looks great. It has a good finnishing. One of my worries with replicas. As they are made of non-ferrous sort of metals, they do not accept bluing like their real steel counter parts. And to remove the original finnish completely, is a pain in the ass. Please make a video some day teaching how to do it. You got know how, and good hands, my friend!!!

Hi, thanks again. I guess you watched my Luger videos of finishing the metal parts using the birchwood casey aluminium black. It turned out very well. Some aluminium parts will blue but depends on the base metals used. I have a video I need to film showing this on a different replica. The beretta had awful markings from factory across the slide so I stripped it back and resprayed.

@@Waxmax Hi again!! And it turned out beautifully!!! Did you used some sort of sand to prepare the metal before respraying it?? (The look from here is incredible!!) When you can, please show us how do you do tihs kind of job on your replicas. I know it is not easy, but maybe if you get some old replica,or one from a bone yard... If I was there, I'd lend a help if you wanted, that is for sure!!! Any way it is enough good to watch all you've posted so far!!
