I have been studying chemistry for two years in Kyoto, and got hooked on bonsai. I hope you do make the trip some time, it's a great place. Only trouble is, when you've seen one season, you'll want to see them all! :) Take care.
Yes I have some clips from a plum-tree exhibition waiting to be edited, a visit to "The moss-temple" Saihoji coming up, and a few other ideas so yes, more stuff coming for sure, at irregular intervals. =)
Hah yeah, I hardly think about that anymore. I think there are various reasons, but for many(most) people here it seems to be a habit. The most common reason is probably being sick, such as having a cold, to prevent coughing germs all over. You are pretty much expected to wear one in such cases. Other reasons I've heard of: Protect from others' germs, pollen, air-pollution, from breathing dry, cold winter air and more recently, as fashion, to hide your face, stay incognito etc.
grazie per aver pubblicato questo video ti saluto dall ITALIA

как сделать такие красивые ветви как на 1: 52 ?
No, it's originated from China. Japanese learned it from China many years ago, then developed well on it.
круто и красиво
Or maybe there was a dentists' convention going on in the neighborhood ;)
