didn't mel get drunk and started to blame the jews? because i am jewish, and mel should have never made the passion of jesus (or what ever its called), if you want to make a movie about jesus, don't do his death, make a movie about the life of jesus not his death. mel some how miss that. p.s. mel should not have said that he hates jews, becasue jesus is jewish too. also, how is he doing? and why has he not been in any movies?
the death of jesus is the most important part because it shows the kind of "man" he was ... it is also the central christian belief that jesus die for our sins that we might live a again and his death proved he was the son of god .... ummm jesus isnt jewish but he was a jew .... and the reason i think anyone sees jesus as a jew is because he wasn't jewish and becuz jews r usually jewish ... not that him being jew means anything.... ps mel gibson is OLD ..
being neither jewish or christian, and having majored in early Judeo-christian philosophy I believe I can give a non biassed reply. I do not understand the difference between being a "jew" and "jewish." most Jews view 2parts to Judaism- Judaism as a religion and Judaism as an ethnicity. I believe that Jesus fits both categories. he viewed himself as a jew- however he believed his religion was corrupt, and sought to reform it. It was not Jesus who created christianity but paul- after his death
