We both are native Floridians and never made the trip before either! I would recommend going in the cooler months because it's a better chance to see alligators, that was the one thing I feel like we missed out on!
For us, it was definitely worth the cost! We didn't have bikes with us and we wouldn't have been able to walk all that way to get to the tower. The narration was also really interesting! If we had to do it again, I would definitely wait until cooler months, because it definitely was hot, but we also didn't see any alligators so that would be a cool addition next time!
I can't believe that for my 52 years in Florida, I have found excuses not to visit the Everglades. Gotta get it done. Thanks for the tour.
