- The Lonesome River Band perfoms "Perfume, Powder, & Lead" at The Heartwood Center in Abingdon, VA, on 7/16/11. Lonesome River Band consists of Sammy Shelor, banjo; Brandon Rickman, lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Mike Hartgrove, fiddle; Barry Reed, bass; and Randy Jones, mandolin and vocals.
Seriously the best Bluegrass Band on the planet!
This song is why I love bluegrass music so much. You won't hear lyrics like this anywhere else.

Man thus band has been around since early 80's when I was in HS. Had many a great members over the years...Ronnie Bowman, Don Rigsby and Dan Timinsky just to name a couple. Glad they've kept the tradition alive all these years
I've been a fan of the Lonesome River Band since Ronnie Bowman and company including Jeff Parker who is a great friend and Randall Deaton produced their first records. I still love them that new lead singer is awesome!!!!! Thank you for the years of great bluegrass music!!!!

If you like this song you need to hear it by between the lines band they dont have it recorded yet but you can hear it live where ever they are playing at I saw them live and they are awsome hope to hear more from them.
