Right!! that’s exactly how I feel!! Imagine taking that out of your makeup drawer to put that on your face, and it has melted the component!! to the point I could shove my nail through it like I mean, that sucker is soft and melted!! Absolutely disgusting!! Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate that and I hope you found this video helpful. And thanks a bunch for writing. I absolutely love it when you guys write to me. Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋
Not to worry Babe!! I am never putting that on my face ever again!! it was the plastic component that physically melted. The product looked fine other than I smashed it into the lid when I got pissed off prior to filming, because when I realized that the component was melted!! I was like.. yuck gross and didn’t care and threw it out. Thanks so much for watching!! Means the world to me and I appreciate it every time when you write to me!! 🤗 Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋
I think any liquid/ cream product should be used within a year of opening. The 18 months is more unopened than opened. Stored correctly even pre purchase will impact it.
Completely agreed! I don’t stockpile products because you’re completely right. It will impact the performance of the product. Thanks so much for watching and for writing Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋
Lacey, could the packaging be biodegradable? Such as sugar based alternative to plastic. Disposable cutlery thats sugar based can look, feel like plastic. Or it maybe partially non plastic, which helps it breakdown. With creams, I once read that if a flat pan, to store it upside down so the oils dont sink to the bottom. Maybe being stored the oils or acids (such as skincare uses like lactic/salicylic etc..) maybe sunk to one side. Had you used any products or cleaner with alcohol to sanitise? I once got hand gel on some hand weights, resulted in the rubber/plastic like coating to breakdown. Not blaming you, just trying to think why. I looked up the Mario site didnt see any environmental statement on biodegradable packaging but did see articles about the brand and biodegradable wipes.
The bronzing product (if the shape stick) does contain alcohol itself. You mentioned you cleaned makeup off the outer packaging (not lid). Maybe an inner tube (like lipstick) is plastic but outer casing is not, so it started to breakdown. Wipes can also contain alcohol or acids, so a prior wipe down may of left the residue. Plastic is quite hardy, hence difficult to breakdown, its used to store bleach, cleaning products so I would think the packaging is an alternative biodegradable.
Thank you for such an amazing response. I really appreciate that you wrote to me and took a moment to look it up. I also took some great deal to look this up before filming and basically found the same thing. Can I make sense of why I can shove my nail right through the component because it melted on the side that was facing the bottom of the cabinet. NOPE 👎 It’s concerning to me and I felt like I should share it with you guys let this happened because I’m sure and I would hope that you wouldn’t have the same experiences that I’ve had over the last 13 months and you’ll be using your products so this might not be happening to you guys, but it’s what happened to me because I hadn’t been in my studio in 13 months. It is definitely a mystery. Thanks so much for watching and for writing Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋

It's common for the oils, alcohols, and minerals in cosmetics to degrade plastic. They just used the wrong type of plastic for that bronzer formula. Not a big deal.
I’ve never had a problem with Kosas where the plastic component has melted, and I could stick my fingernail through the soft melted plastic component. I’ll definitely check out my Kosas though and I’ll Update you can let you know if I find anything Thanks so much for watching Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋
You were probably too sick to watch Utube this year. One creator I have followed for years (Angelica Nyqvist, A Swede now living in the US while her husband is getting his doctorate) tells it like it is just like you. In any case, there was a to do about some of these products becoming rancid. My memory is hazy because I don't buy this brand but weird things were happening. Glad you caught it. The last thing your poor body needs is rancid decaying makeup poisoning you. Thanks for the PSA. Angi speaks her mind but others didn't and I respect both of you for it.
Hey beautiful, thank you so much for taking a moment out of your day to write to me. Yes, you are absolutely right those days where I was getting the chemotherapy and everything else. I just rested. I didn’t even watch anything. I barely remember those days. I was just on so much medication. It was absolutely terrible so I didn’t know about it. I just thought it was super weird when I took it out of my drawer and I’m like wait what’s happening? Thank you for the recommendation. I’ll definitely check out her videos. Sounds like an amazing creator. I love a good recommendation so I appreciate that. I’ve been a little sick right now and there hasn’t been that many video drops from me lately, but I’m on the mend and I can’t wait to get back into the studio and film Thank you so much for watching. You’re absolutely amazing. Live, Love & Lipgloss 💄 xoxo 💋

This is why I avoid 'clean' beauty brands. They seem to rot very quickly. Definitely don't use that item

Is MBM classed as clean beauty? I also steer clear of clean beauty, especially if it's cream as they go off so quickly & they're expensive.
@@kateboy-rx6jt I think so, but not certain

@@LaceyElizabethDesigns the products don’t last they smell different
Yes, I have experienced that with the brand. I absolutely love the concealer, but it doesn’t last very long before it starts to smell expired.
Kosas is really bad. Learnt my lesson the hard way & won't repurchase their cream products.
