Loved growing up there in the 70s n 80s and graduating from Ambridge , so many ethnic families and everyone got along you weren’t afraid to ride your bike down to merchant street at 7pm business all still open , My dad & mom bought the Ambridge Italian Villa in 1979 on Duss ave. They are gone now but business is run by brother & his family .... Greek & Italian Food & pastries

Good job. It's interesting to know about the history since I pretty much grew up there(fair oaks, leet township) I'd suggest shutting the window when ur talking

I lived there until I had to leave in 1982 because there were no jobs. Noticed you drove past my boyhood home at 186 12th St. So sad to see what has happened since...

Nice tour. My wife and I are thinking of retiring back to the Pittsburgh area and Ambridge is on our short list.

Went to high school there. It was my home. It's been years since I've been back. I've heard it's very mean now. So many memories. They were good and everybody was safe

This is so sad to see how these small towns on the Ohio River are falling apart and no one is doing anything about it, I'm from Baden and it has nothing there to offer anybody to live there... 2022

Thanks for posting. You actually passed by my old dancing school on Maplewood Ave. Doris Singer's; brought a tear to my eye. Also, it was H.H. Robertson, not Robinson. My dad worked there until he retired.

I love this, Mark. Thank you for creating and posting it. I was home this past summer and went all over Ambridge and Harmony Township. I feel homesick often.

Thanks Mark. Brought back some memories. Grew up in Harmony Township, went to Ambridge High school (class of 1960). I don't miss living there, but I always enjoy visiting. Still have cousins in the area, and a few High school friends. Plan on being in Ambridge for 60 year reunion in Sept. 2020. There was Spangs, and my dad worked at Wycoff steel.
