I wish Pennsylvania had ramps that sounded this cool! It's interesting when DOT's resurface the main road but leave the concrete ramps present.

I wonder if the entire highway used to be concrete, despite being a newer one. Many years back I-70 had that same grooving but it's now asphalt, but they kept the OH-29 exit original until this year when they added a roundabout.
I actually found a video before they paved the highway: ua-cam.com/video/U7oBn8WHr70/v-deo.htmlsi=9qcd-xcDNeJf6gf8

US 50 East from Athens Ohio has that exact same grooving as well. It's still there today, and includes Indiana grooving as well!

@@DrakeG51 I believe they sometimes decide not to resurface ramps due to them not having as much damage as the main highway. Interstate 99 in Pennsylvania at exit 83 for example still has concrete for the ramps but the main highway was resurfaced with asphalt in 2020/2021.

@@ConcreteSquirrel Ohio usually keeps their concrete grooving until it's in really bad shape. As for the exit ramps I like to have them original in my opinion!
