Recycling Process
Step 1: Collection and transportation of scrap tyres from each Waste Management location to the storage facility of Freetown Waste
Step 2: Sorting of tyres in accordance to sizes
Step 3: Pre-crushing of tyres into chips of about 50 x 50 mm
Step 4: Granulation of rubber chips
Step 5: Steel separation and classification into different rubber sizes
Step 6: Clean granulation into finished product and separation of textile fibres and rubber.
