This won't really work for everyone, but the legit way I get in all my calories for the day (whether it be for cutting, maintaining, or bulking) is by working out right after waking up and eating 100% of my calories as soon as possible after I'm finished, or atleast within a six hour period max. It keeps me satisfied for the day, and you look great in the mirror after your workout the next day because of the 18 hr fast. It's a little difficult sometimes to get the calories in and I understand that Intermittent fasting isn't for everyone, so this probably won't help most people. Another advice that mostly anyone can take is to completely cut off any drinks other than water or 0 calorie drinks. A can of soda has around 140 kcals from pure added sugar alone (a can of coke has 39g of added sugar with 3.7 generally being the number to calculate the kcals per g of sugar from fructose syrup, which amounts to 144kcals that gets rounded to 140kcals on the nutritional label), which in of itself is a terrible, because you know, lots of sugar = bad for your general health. Switching from soda to water or 0 calorie drinks saves you on hundreds of calories, most of which are empty calories that aren't even fulfilling. After a week or so, you'll get used to not drinking soda and you probably won't even like them anymore. Back when I was a bit overweight, I cut out soda and that was enough for me to slim down a decent amount. The taste of Coke (with the exception of that nice watered down 0 calorie ones) became pretty gross, and that's coming from someone who'd drink nothing but cups of soda. TL;DR: replace soda with water or 0 calorie drinks. Most juice have added sugar, and you can drink ones that are 100% natural sugars, but keep it a general rule to eat and drink moderately. They're healthy for your body, but don't be chugging hundreds of calories worth of juice. Weight is completely dependent on caloric deficit. My bad for replying several times btw lol. I'd highly suggest investing in a pull up bar if possible; the majority of your back gains will straight up come from the pull up bar. The muscle groups you want to be targeting are triceps, chest, shoulder, biceps, back and legs. I'll try to list workouts for each muscle group in order and you can use Google to see how to do them Triceps and chest:Bench dips, push ups Shoulder: Pike pushups, military press, shoulder raises (can use anything decently heavy for these two) Biceps: Body rows, chin ups (if have a pull up bar), bicep curls with anything heavy Back: Pull ups, back rows (can use anything heavy) Legs: Squats, lunges, and calf raises. (Can use anything heavy) Abs: There's a playlist I have saved on my channel of the ab workouts that I do. I do all three videos in succession, but it might be tough so try the one by the guy whose channel name has Fraser in it. Overall, I'd recommend doing 3 sets of each for around 10-12 reps every other day. If it's too much, you can take off some workouts, but have atleast 1-2 workouts for each muscle. If you're too sore for a specific muscle group on your next workout day, just skip it. Don't work it out when it's sore or it'll be overworked. If your main goal is to lose weight while not losing too much muscle, a good general calorie range would be around 13x your bodyweight in lbs, so just multiply your total weight by 13. For protein try to aim for 1g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight. You don't really need to focus on carbs and fats, but make sure you also eat a decent amount of them as well. If you have weights, you can find more alternatives for whatever muscle group you want, but these are pretty common and not too difficult to do. Once you're comfortable with those workouts and get used to the consistency but want something harder, you can research the Push/Pull/Leg split routine. Bodyweight workouts are generally best to start off with though because you get 3 days of break a week contrary to 1 day a week with the Push/Pull/Leg split. My bad if it's a little overwhelming lol.
