My first time ever seeing Tennessee win a national title and I'm so glad to say we are the champions! Last time Tennessee in general won the big one, 2008 lady vols basketball team.
The slide by Hunter was just insane. I remember watching it and was like what just happened! What was amazing to me was the ump was in perfect position to see it happen live and if you watch him he is kind of stunned the catcher missed him. He motions safe but his manner was "WHAT DID I JUST SEE!" It turned out that incredible play was the game winning run. What a season and what a game! GBO 🍊
After we dropped game 1 everyone was saying "y'all have no pitchers" "y'alls pitchers suck" i tried explaining to some A&M fans that we didnt use our 2 best pitchers and they shouldn't get ahead of themselves (of course i was mocked), then Beam and Sechrist absolutely locked it down for the final 2 games imo Vitello and Franks approach to the pitching is ultimately what made this season such a success, it gave us the ability to immediately bounce back after getting punched in the mouth multiple times this season, having that insane offense surely helped as well though lol, GBO.
i miss the view from behind the plate . you get to see what the batter and the catcher are seeing. gives you a good idea of the velocity. they used to do it in the majors all the time . very rarely these days
2:40:15 Ya know... balking the runner to third removes signal relaying from the 2B runner to the hitter. Watch the catcher nod twice and has zero reaction when he steps off to go to first. Could've been planned and acted out but either way, it was a good thing to happen. MLB does it a lot with leads late in the game up but a few runs.
