Tobin Apollo - My Sweet Rhododendron (Visualiser)

This is the first little solo piano number off of ‘eye Of the storm’, ‘My Sweet Rhododendron’. The inspiration for this song was simple. Rhododendrons were one of my favourite flowers to come out this year in late spring/early summer. I just love how large, yet elegant the flowers are and how completely massive the plant can be if given enough space. When writing the song, which appeared to me in its entirety over the span of a week just only a month ago, I wanted to really describe the flower sonically, with delicate sections to appear as petals and rich bass driven section to appear as the awesome size of the plant…I hope you enjoy 🌺
