Hm. Good information. Though I think I will not stop there...and I think I will upgrade his original coat a little...Just got myself an empty doll fabric body with disc joints.
I have one question I know this is not about taking the head off or anything but if you took the head off how do you put it back on I need to know because I want to customize mine but I am afraid to ruin it.
What i do is put the bottom of the doll through the neck/collar of the robe then shimmy it back up his body and then tuck his arms in as the robe reaches his hands while shimmying up.
I try to put the old robe back on my new doll body from this shop i put the little feet through the top of the collar first and slowly squish the body down and through the original robe to get it back on the body. I have bought more bodies from this shop.
Sorry to reply so late. Snipping the zip tie will require you to use a new zip tie to secure his head back on. I just shimmy up all the clothes from the bottom up instead of going overhead

Yes! I put it back in the reverse order of taking it off. I put the bottom of body through the neck/collar and shimmy the robe back up

They use zip ties to put the head back on. I can’t remember if it was 12” or 18” but definitely zip tie.
