This digital gauge displays the voltage of batteries in the car. With high brightness of LED, there is no difficulty in seeing the display. This product is simple enough to use, just plug it into your lighter, watch your alternator's output from idle to accelerated speed. You could diagnose your car's alternator and battery "on the fly".

I`m not sure what some are b*tching about it. It gives a good indication of the voltage. What do you expect for 2 $?
Back in the day alot of cars had volt guages. Its ashame they did away with them.
Back in the day only a few years ago.. designers did not overcomplicate a basic charging system which worked.
Right my mail truck from the 80's has one. My personal truck from 2018 nope. Stupid. We dont need that info!
@@handsmcneil Many work vehicles today dont even have RMP's in the tach, or a water temperature gauge
Im guessing you are using a Honda CRV
yup
Ramai Yang tidak tahu menatang ni gayezzzz 👍🥳 morah² jer kat shopee, cara mudah ketahui Sama ada alternator rosak ataupun bateri rosak gayezzzz...jimat
How to I find the chart on Amazon??
You have provided 2 different links to this item via Amazon. Which one did you actually buy?
Did you ever put a "real" volt meter on your battery and compare the readings? I have heard these things are usually not very accurate.

I have not tried that.
Got one of those. Not reliable at all.
Honda recalls all the time. Our 2013 Odyssey had gone to the dealer for recalls for three times and keep on coming. Forget about buying a Honda which made in the US. Waste time and not as reliable as the Consumer Report said.
Nice
It shows the voltage of cigarette lighter adapter not voltage of battery. Why? Because this voltage that comes to cigarette lighter adapter isnt directly from battery its regulated and the voltage of battery might be diffrent of that one which is displayed on this thing.
Rocky2224 I doubt that. I've never come across a car cigarette lighter / power port that's had regulated voltage. Besides, you can see from the voltages that he was getting that the port voltage wasn't regulated. They were exactly the same voltages you get at the battery if you measure it directly with a multimeter under the same conditions.
As Clinton states a separately regulated voltage would not have increased with the engine running.. this is clearly not a separately regulated voltage
More and more idiot vehicle designers are deciding that a computer should control battery charging instead of restricting current drain on "standby" and designing in component resiliance. All that is needed is alternaters and batteries to do their job, neither should need "coding to a vehicle" these are both resiliant components. Note to designers go back to basics. 'If it aint broke, don't "fix" it' The more complex a system the more likely it has a flaw. If you have a battery charging problem and it is not your battery or alternator then make a complaint to manufacturers. In the least a manufacturer should ensure all manuals are available to download and critical system/ components I call it "built in bullshit" is explained precisely so users can find out how the systems work on their cars. Thanks for an informative video.. so it is not just Nissan screwing up on this.
hi , can you leave this device plugged in as you are driving ??
Yes
@@AwkwardHamster thank you for the quick reply ! appreciate it.
R these things accurate?
Yes
Where did you get the chart of safe voltages?
awesome thanks you saved me money on amazon!

what apps in your iphone you use for the manual?
+Melvin Armas
It's not an App, it's just a picture. Some volt meters come with a picture of the voltage guide so I just used their picture as a reference. For example this other item I reviewed provided the guide. ua-cam.com/video/-cR5Tu166hc/v-deo.html
