  • Hey love bugs!
    Welcome back to my channel!
In today's video I shared with you guys how I did mini braids on my 4c natural hair. I usually do mini twists as my long term protective style. However, this time around (even though I said I'd never do mini braids) I thought I'd try this protective style instead.
    Thanks for watching!

Ma'am, you did so marvelous on your plaits. & Kudos to you for you adding a Bible Verse to the start of this great video. I might be a male watching this video but I still like how you got your hair done. This was very educational, entertaining & overall enjoying to watch. Eventually, I might get mine done like that but NOT have the ends of mine curled if I ever do grow out my short hair.

BEAUTIFUL!!!. I love mini braids too, but, it breaks my hair, or I break my hair when it's time to take it down. Even if I stretch my hair, the whole braid starts to coil on itself at the roots and makes my braids looks like spring twist, smh!. Must be the reason it gets so hard to take down.

Whatever that comb deh name took me out 😂😂. Your hair looks great. I would definitely like to do this because I just need a break from the daily hairstyling, however idk if I have the patience 😩. Also I'm so funny about other ppl doing my hair because I'm worried about them being as careful as I would. Boy, the struggle!

Curious to know if you've tried it? I've just jumped in and done it myself and it really didn't take that long. Feel free not having to worry about styling etc. Can throw on a natural wig if and when needed!

I've seen where another minibraider (Naturally Marked) puts conditioner throughout the hair overnight and let it dry so the hair is very soft on takedown day. Also can add oil to give the slip you need. This methods counters breakage and a smoother takedown. Perhaps you could try that to see how it works for you. It sounds like it makes sense. I haven't tried it as I've just installed minibraids for the first time and couple days ago but will be testing this method. From what I have seen of her videos, she's a pro and grew her hair to tailbone using this method in 3 years!
