For us ..4-5 people.....Thanksgiving is 12lb turkey.. Or turkey breast and ham....mac n cheese, dressing, sweetpotatoes,mashed potatoes n gravy.,green beans.....pie...pumpkin orsweetpotatoe, cherry,apple....gingerale, ice tea,....day after make potato salad..so Daniels sandwiches..and turkey hash

I spent thanksgiving day in the hospital but they did serve us Thanksgiving dinner.

I’m so sorry that ur sick but the funny thing is that I tested positive for rapid strep for the second time in two weeks (a relaps)
We were in Anaheim last weekend and just missed Hailee and Braden 😥
I wanted to do 3 things based on your videos. None of these are in or available in Canada.
1. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was delicious.
2. We went to Target and bought Pirates Booty and Kings Hawaiian Rolls.

Feel better Tina. My adult kids get some boring items new toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and then they still get Santa gifts. I love Christmas and I am the first to admit I spoil everyone.

For us we go all out! Even if it's just the immediate family. Turkey, ham, potatoes, carrots, yams. And then an erray of goodies for dessert. Also, Canada's Thanksgiving is in October.

Where’s the turkey 🦃 this year we actually tried the cooked turkey dinner meal from our local market feeds 10 for $55 it’s better this way you have no cooking or cleaning, we will continue on doing it every year from here and out. Our kids are all adults now we still go all out on them. Our Christmas dinner always changes from pozole to tamales this year it’s tamales 🫔
For my family my dad and mom give us items that useful to use like hair care, cooking, or something you can use your brain. Also, you can look up online or Pinterest for gift idea. I would give gift cards to your children favorite store and buy the clothes. Ask them if there gift they always wanted like new I pad or going on family trip.

Get well and back to bed Tina. We just my son and I so I just made his favorite dish which is chicken and dressing and yams. On the rolls your hands are the best utinesl. On older kids. I am making a basket of needs and than one thing heard them talking about more than once or know of something broke and need replaced and a fast food gift card. Ones a college student he wants snacks and the other things to keep her home clean. Have a blessed day.

We are a family of 2-just hubby and me. Every year a make a full blown traditional Thanksgiving dinner for the 2 of us and yes, tons of leftovers but it is the only time during the year that I roast a whole turkey.

When my kids only wanted money, I taped money to random items or to the bottom of a box and then wrapped em. 😆 I'd put all sorts of funny random stuff in the boxes. They thought it was hilarious. They got a laugh and still got items they need and money. For example I wrapped up a can opener for my son and a pack of toilet paper. 😆 That was several yrs ago. He says he still uses and loves that can opener. Haha.
My boys are adults but don't really need anything or want anything. They buy for themselves with their own money. They love gift cards just like your older children. I attach gift cards to other gifts so I will put a gift card in pockets or tape it to something else like a box of chocolates. My oldest son asked for a can of green beans for Christmas when he was very young so sometimes I will gift him a can of green beans and attach something to it. It really is about the love and laughter and memories. We make turkey or ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing(dressing) and gravy for our holiday meals even though it is just the four of us. The men make the meal and I wash the dishes and put away the leftovers for every holiday meal. I haven't made a holiday meal since I have been married. It is my husband's gift to me each holiday.
Grateful for family and family getting along
My kids don't ask for anything, because they have family of tier own. But I sew them something special, like this year I sewed table runners, and my younger great grandchildren I sewed them pillow beds

Tina you are one tough cookie. I would of thrown in a couple Thanksgiving Hungry Man meals in the oven and called it a day.
We got together, with my daughter's, they each did their special food, I made my homemade bread, and pumpkin cheesecake

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope Tina gets to feeling better soon and I hope no one else gets it. We normally have the traditional Thanksgiving. Ham and turkey, mash potatoes, homemade noodles and I am in charge of the homemade sweet rolls (which is easy) corn casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, stuffing, oyster stuffing, gravy, relish tray, so many different pies, and many more stuff. Christmas maybe one thing and then gift cards. But both parents are gone and I am by myself. Thankful for friends. I only put up the tree myself and mom made together along with the nativity scene. ❤️ Both brothers get together. Hope no one else gets sick. 🥰
There were only 4 of us for thanksgiving, but I made enough food for 12, can’t beat the leftovers ❤. Feel better, Tina!
