WOW, I am amazed, I think you are amazing. Your quilting on denim is fabulous. I'd been thinking of making a quilted denim bag haha with a basic Chanel knock off quilt stitch and for some reason my you tube directed me to you and I wasn't even looking up quilting on denim! I swear I think apple products have esp capabilities already! But your denim quilting is beyond anything I'd ever even OMG, I'm watching you and you do it so gracefully! With such ease, like they say, not your first rodeo, I gather. Thank you for sharing, I'm definitely going to make my bag, it's just a tote, if it doesn't come out good, it will look fabulous for a grocery bag. Don't worry I couldn't even try anything like yours and Chanel doesn't have anything to worry about my quilting either. This u tube sharing does give us a glimpse into some pretty great and talented people. Can you imagine if they'd had u tube in the days of great artists like Van Goh? We might have seen some of his original work, as I am seeing yours
I ha e really grown to love your style of fmq...it's more realistic looking instead of the traditional cartoonish fmq stuff...... and it looks like you are.really pumping out the bags now... good deal..
Oh my gosh! I had no idea you could use one of these old Singers to do FMQ... and my mom has an old Singer 15-91 (not a treadle), so I'm thinking this is something I can try. I've also been collecting old pairs of jeans from my brother, so this would be a perfect use for them. Thanks Mr. Latimer!
Is that quitting foot an original singer part or a modern foot that fits this machine? I also have a singer 15 & I like how this foot seems to glide over this type of work.
Hey Tim it's me again. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas this year. I have a question for you, I've been on Etsy cause really want to purchase a handbag from, the trouble is I can't find you. What am I doin wrong?
I love this series of quilted bags! I'm in the early stages of learning straight line quilting with my walking foot. A little frustrated with the puckering when seams meet, but overall I'm pleased. Practice Practice Practice... Anyway, thanks for the videos!

The 15-91 does a great job on FMQ. I think you will like it :)

How long does it take you to make one of those bags? They are incredible.
Do you still make videos?
