I’ve watched some of the America’s Cup race in San Diego. That replica is amazing. I want the Toulouse Latrec poster! 😭So much beautiful old furniture this week! Only white men for the first 100 yrs at Chapel Hill as with MOST if not all schools in the US. 😢 All the Ivy leagues had “sister schools.” Ignore my rant.

Omg, my parents had the same lamp, when I grew up ( the first brass lamp, with the gold leaf and flowered pattern)! I didn’t appreciate just how pretty it was until I saw it! Absolutely love the hoosiers cabinet! Oh my that’s something about the artist that lost his arm and how good he painted and royalty to boot! I hope your channel grows, told a few of my friends in England, even though we can’t buy anything from Habitat, we appreciate quality pieces at good prices! My goodness, they really are outdoing themselves with the lamps! And you’re right, that lampshade is too tall for that lamp base! It would suit a late 60’s early 70’s lamp base. Yes i remember the pocket camera and the Kodak flash camera, had one. You could take four pictures and blind the poor person you were taking a picture of! Thank you so much for taking me on your shopping, brought a tear to my eye when I saw the lamp I grew up with!

I'd like that old Settlement Cookbook, my mom had one & when I was a kid I thought I would try to make some oatmeal cookies. They came out huge! My stepdad told me to make some more, that they could lay a patio with them-😂. I'd like to have another go at that recipe.... 😅
