In Part 2, I showed you how to make two Shohin Mulberry bonsai trees out of one tree using the Air Layering technique. In this mulberry bonsai tutorial video, we will see the result and finish the final step of Air Layering - Air Layering Removal 在第二集裡我教大家如何使用空中壓條來製作兩棵桑樹小品盆栽，而在這次的影片裡，我們將要來看看製作後的結果並完成空中壓條法的最後步驟。
Air layering a mulberry bonsai is effortless. It can be done from early Spring till the late Summer season because mulberry begins its growing phase. 空中壓條桑樹很簡單。你可以從初春到晚夏做此事因為這時候是桑樹的成長期間。
After two months, the tree has grown new leaves and roots. This means we have successfully applied the Air Layering technique. Then we can remove the training pot and separate the tree into two trees. This is called Air Layering Removal. 兩個月後，樹木已經長了新的樹葉和樹根。也就是說我們成功的使用空中壓條法。接著我們要拿掉盆養盆並將兩棵樹分開。

Beautiful 👌. For the smaller tree to establish new roots, is it better to remove the mulberrys or does it not make any difference ?
For proper radial root spread, isn't a wider pot beneficial ? Or do you plan to do that later. Thank you.

Thanks! It is better to remove the Mulberrys for the tree to regrow its roots. I left it on merely because it looks pretty for the video. 😁
Planting a tee into a bigger pot can help it to grow and spread faster. However, I want my tree to grow older quickly. With the right size of the pot and enough soil, the tree can still grow just fine. I like my bonsai small and look old. 😀
