This October, as we celebrate International Cybersecurity Awareness Month, The Bonamelo Melisizwe Foundation is launching Tech Week 2024 in the township of Daveyton, City of Ekurhuleni. It’s a groundbreaking moment for us, as many of our young learners experienced coding and robotics for the very first time this year through our KasiCoders pilot programme.
For the first time, these remarkable learners created robotics projects using limited resources, forging a new path for innovation in their communities. 🚀🤖 What they’ve achieved so far is nothing short of extraordinary, and we couldn’t be prouder!
The Bonamelo Melisizwe Foundation is igniting a powerful wave of digital transformation in South Africa’s townships and informal settlements, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our brand-new ICT Centre is set to empower even more young people, equipping them with the skills to thrive in coding, robotics, and programming.
