@@thornados4969 Apparently, Marcos administration was one of the best in terms on economy in the Philippines. The economic crisis only happened during 1981 when the opposing parties and the communists reached the peak threat. The all-around betrayal to the Marcoses were there too. Of course, a country would not work if the government isn't aligned altogether. Martial law would never happen if only the opposing parties didn't antagonize the administration. There would be no martial law if there were no opposition. No corruption either.
