i only had mandatory french in elementary school (but i went to the english part of a french immersion school so idk) but i think its a pretty common canadian past time to try to read the french on packaging, especially if you dont speak it. plus, even tho i cant speak french worth shit, i can understand and read a decent amount of it
I think in Canada even without living in Quebec, we're all quite accustomed to French. I had to learn since I was 4 years old and since it's mandatory to learn in schools, most people now have a basic understanding of it
