All might, in my opinion, is one of the best, if not the best, depictions of a heroic soul. He has had the soul of the hero from a young age, which in turn pushed him to train harder, even without powers. As a result he built an Olympic level body. Combined with his ideals and intellect, All Might was chosen to receive the power of a hero. He battered and sacrificed his body every single moment since. This resulted in his current scary looking form. However in that form, one can see, clearer than ever, his heroic soul. His soul which is bigger than his body can handle, bigger than life itself can handle, ended up squeezing out every last ember of his body and his power. A true hero indeed. He rose from being a hero to being a symbol, and now at his retirement, he became something more. The light of hope itself. The Legendary Hero All Might.

I've been depressed the past few days. Just listening to this helps make me feel that everything will be okay. All Might was such a great hero because of a lot of reasons, but at the core, it is because he gives hope and the power to see it through. He is a pure example of the best of humanity. Best hero in MHA by a huge margin.

This OST is so underrated; when it played in the show, it was easily my favorite moment of the entire series. When nobody made a cover of it, I was so confused and upset, even if it was just a 30-second track. Now that this is here, I can finally rest easy.

Deku not only sacrificed his arm (potentially) but his whole body on multiple occasions and he's only been 12-14. Much better display of feats, development and dedication to being a hero than the others if you actual put it into consideration.
I reeeeally love Mirio but it upsets me how people completely push Izuku away when it comes to him. Mirio was outstanding protecting Eri, but Izuku also tried to save Katsuki when he was quirkless, almost died to give Kota a chance to run, and almost got erased by Eri after wrecking Overhaul up. Pretty important sacrifices and victories with not even 1/3 of the training Mirio got. So, more respect with little Deku, ok?
These are people that were influenced by early Sir Nighteye.
And I say early because they completely ignore Sir Nighteye's realisation after the fight with Overhaul.
I saw something that said lemillon would have won if eri wasn’t there and deku would have lost if eri wasn’t there
Difference is Deku is the main character so he obviously going to win.
Not even a big fan of the show but the main character is honestly just getting too much hype at this point, he isn't even all that cool anymore. I would've been fine with him just using OFA but he had to get like 6 different quirks, that combined with all the plot suck offs he gets, I'd argue to say Mirio is actually a better main character.

No he doesn't, Mirio doesn't encapsulate the series's 1/10th as well as Deku does. Mirio was going to let Eri go at first, that shows his nature wasn't defined by what a Hero really means and All Might said it himself "Self Sacrifice" who only does it later. Deku knows what it means to be devalued and discriminated his whole life to the point it's normal for him and didn't see much of a difference that it transfers to his morality to understanding Villains which makes more sense than it does with Mirio because of Deku's low value of himself and how he saw everyone as above him plus lack of introspection for his self destruction relating to society in order to prove himself meaning he'll do anything in order to "Save to win" making that villain dynamic better. One For All is for those who are "Powerless", not for someone who's nature that is aligned with the quirks of it's society, the persona Mirio has is his own, he never needed to be the main character because he tells a story of his own that's not wholly parallel to the main themes of the story.
Having 6 quirks or souls within OFA was something hinted in chapter 1 or episode 2 and many times throughout the story and it was actually well done in terms of hints in the tournament, when it hints at the quirk singularity it's something that evolves over time to something that cannot be controlled anymore in conjunction to their persona (Toga or Twice their quirks persona somewhat defines them), it's supposed to show thematically (or one of the many for it's power system) that it's the generations coming together rather than it being one authority like All Might, one person cannot do everything as suggested in the recent season, what is the result of when the strongest isn't there any more?
This ost need to sound when bones adapt "We are here!" episode of the manga!
Only the greatest heroes can use this soundtrack.

Being someone in the military and has had to put my body in harms way to protect my friends and peoples I’ve never met without hesitation is what made me watch this show with my roommate.
They’ve always compared me to Kyojuro Rengoku from demon slayer. Once I watched this show and saw Lemillion continuing to push despite losing his quirk along with protecting Eri. I was speechless once he shouted “I am still, Lemillion!”. My platoon always practice our “war face” and roars. His determination, focus, and courage made me respect the character he was. Especially because he was able to do something I couldn’t as a soldier.
Lemillion was able to smile in the face of death.

I rarely cry when watching TV shows/movies, and I mean RARELY. But Mirio saving Eri is one of those exceptions, absolute perfection.

I don't know about y'all, but what I love about this theme the most is how triumphant it sounds, which is very befitting of a theme embodying heroism. As it is titled, it makes you feel like you could do anything, filled with hope and faith that everything will turn out alright in the end. Admittedly I sometimes tear up a bit because of how well this soundtrack really captivates what it feels to be given so much hope, a brief reminder that regardless of the hardships and evils that you have to face on your path, you *will* still overcome those challenges and triumph once more, and *win.*

I've seen several comments arguing over whether this song belongs to All Might or Lemillion. However, the song doesn't "belong" to either one of them.
It does not belong to All Might, it belongs to a quirkless man reduced to nothing but skin and bones, choosing to stand against the most terrifying villain to ever exist.
It does not belong to Lemillion, it belongs to a boy who's lost his quirk, choosing to fight against a powerful villain for the sake of one little girl.
It does not belong to any one person, it belongs to everyone who chooses to be a Light of Hope, to stand against unbearable odds. It may even belong to you.

FireDragon Yeah, That’s why I suggested one in an alternate universe, where Deku doesn’t get OFA, It wouldn’t affect Dekus story and it’d be interesting to see what Mirio would do with OFA.
Honestly, if Mirio had OFA, he'd be basically invincible, hands down. His skill with Permeation and tactical mindset combined with the raw power of All Might would make him capable of beating even All For One.
Sure, let's compare a boy on his first months of hero classes with the guy who got years of particular training :v

Funny thing about Deku and Lemillion is Deku might not whine as much if his teacher was Nighteye. Honestly All Might is not that great of a teacher. First thing he ever said to Deku was 'you can't be a hero if you got no quirk'. Then he just gave him the strongest quirk out there and ask him to take over for him when he's old enough.
All Might was never meant to be a teacher. Just like Nana also didn't Train, but gran torino did.
