Awww. 😊😊I just love you guys!!!
What an awesome idea. I ave never seen anything like it. PERFECT!
Yes ...at the right time, faster and will quickly improve your normal needs...kitchen area...cooking!,🎉🎉
As to the flowers, the pups look SOOOOOOOO innocent, don't they? Look are deceiving! Dogs and holes are a natural combination!
Nothing is impossible to a willing heart
I really enjoy the fact you both are equal partners in everything. One spouse isn't doing everything.
Good luck building your pantry Jim and Lydia
It looks great guys, job well done. It's coming together and Lydia I am with you girl 'clean as you go' it's the best way!
Hello my husband watches you and I heard your comment about flowers around your slab. My I suggest as one southern to another Lavender is a great flower to have around any outdoor area. they repel mosquitos and smell great they also come back every year with little maintence . If you like hanging plants or potted plants mint is also great but do not plant in your yard because it will quickly take over. I wish someone had told me about this sooner. Have fun
Hi! Thank you thank you! Will absolutely be doing this. If not around the front, around the slab that we will be pouring in a few months.
A string compass works every time you need a curve. Simple solution. Pantry looks great. Don't forget to cut out the doorway threshold . I would have tripped over 10 times, LOL.
Lydia, what wonderful skills cutting out that arch, but it is so 1970!!🤔😂🇬🇧
Them crazy cajun mathematically, architecturally gurus done done it again...a speed square and string solved all the problems.... I always had to call my cabinet making buddy when we needed to draw out an elliptical shape..
Y'all done good.
MIND BLOWN!! Not only did ya'll tackle a hard job and defeat it, but you had fun doing it and made it entertaining. I did get excited when you said you were going to "add another stud". But Marie pointed out that you were not talking about me. So, while ya'll build the kitchen, I'll help the dog enjoy the porch (that's what I'm good at).😁
We both laughed so hard at this comment 😂😂 Thank you for the great comment and have great weekend!
ME TOO still Laughing LOLOL tears in eye's oh my goodness. Is Henry still on the porch with the dog??? LOL
Hey y’all, I don’t recall contracting being this much fun!!! 🤔 Great job!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Welcome to Jimbo hootis emporium, all hootis's are patented by Jumbo. They are made in south Louisiana, with love...
Have a great weekend, and hopefully a dry one.
100%. Love it!! Staying dry over here this weekend. Hope it is for you too!!
So glad i found yall. So relaxing to watch while winding down from a long day of driving.
Growing up on a farm, I can appreciate doing the work when the weather dictates your time. But I gotta say, you slayed me with the big calf eyes as you were scratching his neck. ❤️🇺🇸
Wow!! I love watching you guys working together, and your baby girl too🙌
Well I think I just found a new channel! I love anything diy and going to build our house soon on a farm! Will be watching a lot of you guys!! 😊
Thank you so much Kristi! We love to show y’all our way of handling a DIY home. It’s different then most, but we did it all ❤️
Just scatter some powdered cayenne pepper in the area the dogs are digging and they will not like the smell and go elsewhere.
Pantry is looking good Jim and Lydia
You guys are great, and I love the background music. Lots of fun!
you did good
I continue to enjoy as well as learn new techniques ("Hootus") That I now employ on my projects. Yeah, and people think I'm crazy too!
Watching from Australia I must say you guys are doing an amazing job and I can't wait to watch more should be very proud of yourselfs beautiful family
Bien precioso le quedó eso

What a precious family! You guys are so great to Watch such clean and Inspiring contana God bless y’all for that!
I always like it when a video starts out with I have no idea what I’m doing ( brain thinks aha teaching moment ) then Jim says hold my beer and watch this. And it works. ( brain says seek out therapy self your not needed this time ) 😁😁 I’m gonna start a no hootis movement it’s consuming all my teaching moments 😁. Y’all did a great job on the arch.
You guys are so awesome and I love watching your videos. Thank you
great free entertainment thank you
I am learning so much! Thank you for teaching me about hootus.@@CajunCountryLivin
I realy love everything that you do every project is more exciting keep on no matter what wish you luck greetings from Egypt
I love your pantry especially that matching arch. Looks perfect. I would like to have a pantry.
Hi guys. Recently found your channel. I love the great content and thanks for sharing. Big wave from Toronto, Ontario 🤠
Vancouver Carpenter just showed how to build archway real easy and mud it. The Arch looks good.
That was awesome how yall did the ending!! And it came out awesome!!
Thank you Cedric!!! That was Lydia’s favorite part. So glad you enjoyed it too.
@@CajunCountryLivin and man Jim from Wednesday then I got to wait till Sunday I am going to miss yall 😥🤣🤣
Omgoah.....your daughter is so beautiful. And of.course she wants to drive she is just like her mama.
A very good job on the arch door 🚪 yiu guys did a fantastic job I like it
CCL got to be my favorite channel, good job on the arch, they ain't easy,, inside and out, not 1 but 2 arches .... A ball of hootus string priceless...👍🛠👍
Pantry looks good . the archway looks better than the last one I cut . Yall got good music .
Hi you two
I smiled and laughed all through this video.
I got to see a new hootis, Lydia with a cleaning implement. She had me cracking up with the dance routine 🤣😂
Jim scratching his head trying to figure out the door arch🤔
And Lady Ladly giving a thumbs up.
And through it all you got it done 👍
Looks great. I like the corner pantry idea. When you get the counters in it's going to make that corner look curved instead of a square.
Wishing you the best as you continue to the next project.
Hey Jim! We love to hear we can put a smile on your face. 😄
We sure did get it done! So happy to be able to provide you with some laughter. 😋
I think Jim dug that hole to take your mind off looking for that donut bag!! 😂😂
Love the humor you two send out LOLOL. It makes our day for sure. Fantastic job on that food pantry build. Awesome job on that arch too. God is Blessing you all.
Come on go with us. - both walk off in random directions. 😄 And your solution for the arch, would have been exactly what I thought of as soon as you mentioned it. Good to see Gus using the ol' safety squints during cutting. I thought Jimbo might carry Lydia through the archway at the end. Great progress and several projects. I like it. Cheers.
We love to make y’all laugh 😄 thanks for watching! Gus does need some 😎
Dang that looks fabulous nice work you two plus the 2ft.inspector❤🙏she's so dadburn cute✌
About the front porch you can build some planter box, and then put gravel for the mud maybe just a suggestion, great video keep it up
I do enjoy watching your videos. You are making good progress. 85 degrees would be nice.
Need some half wine-barrel planters for flowers off the slab. Not guaranteed safe from dogs, but safer.
Coolness the pantry looks awesome, love the arch too. You will have alot of shelves inside for storage. Great job again.
You forgot to leave a gap under that 1st piece of plywood. The wood will wick moisture from the cement and could warp the panel. Want to copy the arch, get a section of cardboard and tape it up and trace it. Cut along the lines and presto, instant template. There are other ways to do it but that is the simplest.
I was thinking that you should install the ceiling of the pantry before you complete the arch.
Yep, there IS an easier way to do those arches. Home Depot has ready-made wooden arches that fit right in between standard 16" framing members. I forget the name of the company, but they run about $30 or less apiece. They come in standard wall cavity depths, and can be adjusted up and down for height. I do like your DIY method, though.
nice job all fit perfectly and so much love between you, keep going, best regards from FRANCE.
So glad I stumbled on your channel. Great chemistry between you two. I’m consider a bathroom demo and your channel will help me know what I can do and what I’ll sub out. Great job on the pantry. Wished I could have seen you frame it out.
Thank you Michael! We are so happy to be able to help you make those decisions!
Y’all are absolutely adorable! ❤ great job! 👏 pantry looks so good. Have a wonderful weekend!!!
That the most coolest setup I seen if you cover it with barnwood to match you will take it top notice also later in life turn it into a winery cellar
As always, a very informative video. And great choice of a pantry, I put 2 of the same style only natural wood as that was what the wife wanted, and we all know "Happy wife, Happy Life" Great work y'all & will be looking forward to next update.
Thank you Mr. Timothy! And yes sir…. Happy Wife is the key to success 😁 Thank you so much for watching and everything that you do for us! It is appreciated more than you know!
That is soooo awesome, well done :-)
Could you have traced the other arch with cardboard, and match it up, and then adjust for the door size? Might have been easier. I don't know. I'm trying to work on my house too.
You guys do amazing work, And manage to have fun doing it !! Cant wait for the next update
I just love the way you two work together! Great Job on the pantry and figurin' out the arch with the pendulum - style arch makin' mark hootis! 👍
Being those walls are as tall as they are I would recommend some blocking at the 4 foot mark. If you know where the cabinets will be going, just nail up some 2x6 blocking laid flat side out between the studs centered so it is flush with the outside of the wall. This way it will make hanging cabinets much easier.
Hey you two, just started watching some of your stuff. I know you say you doing know what you're doing, don't let anyone tell you different, you guys are doing just fine. You nailed the radius on the arch without anyone having to tell you. A lot of construction is "common sense", you guys have it under control. Measure twice, cut once - You're doing very well, keep it up. I watched your dry pour concrete video before this one too. I learned something new today, never seen it done like that before, thank you. It was pretty cool. 👍
Hope you are doing well with the crazy weather going on down there. 🤞🤞
You better be thankful she does such a good job cleaning, you need to appreciate that wonderful wife 😅😮❤
New subscriber to your channel. I gotta say ya'll make me want to get out there and make something. Great job tackling this pantry. I've been binge watching your videos and the useful tips are endless. Thank you for making great content that's easy to understand.
I was born and raised in that area and miss hearing the sounds of the chickens.
Blessings to you and your beautiful. family.
Hi! Thank you for subscribing! We love to share all the success and the failures we have had in our house build, but smiling all the way! We love to learn new things and share them with y’all. Thank you for watching❤️
I can see that she is wearing hey dude shoes and I wear them and I really like the hey dudes a lot

Thank you Gary! We appreciate you watching and hope that you have a great weekend!
Just leave the current greenery, and transplant some where the mud currently is. Mulch will create a mess on the slab and house. Green groundcover you have looks great, so just plant more.
Hi from the UK, so watched loads of your videos (not all so apologies if you have already said) but who does the videoing?
Hey that looking great and of course the lil one is the cutest
Thank you!😍
