Saw them play the Reading Festival both in 1989 and 1990. I particulary recall their 1990 appearance : it was an afternoon slot on a lovely warm Berkshire day. Their huge looped drones hit just the right level with a hypnotic effect over the audience that managed to be both euphoric and soporific at the same time. Great times and a great band.
It must have been 1987. We spent a couple of weeks in London. Went to see "Primal Scream" in concert. Loop were the opening act. Got into trance without anything else. Didnt take notice of the "main act" anymore.
I remember seeing Loop in the somewhere in the Tottenham Court Road in London I was tripping off my t**ts and ended up wandering around St James Park with some mates. Loop were great at the time.
totally cool.....cheers for putting this on....i've got the album but it's on tape so haven't listened to it for quite a while....must get a new tape deck...
First time listening to this and I know that my life will never be the same. So far ahead of their time, its like Brian Jonestown Massacre meets Black Sabbath
first heard these guys on bbc session. then bought the LP " fade out " . The BBC session was a million times heavier and atmospheric , it was in 3 d as opposed to the flat production on the record. I am certain it weren't different weed ! peace from the new forest
Each and every song of Loop is mindblowing . This music will never sound dated . This makes it eternal .
Musik in einen angenehmen Tempo und dazu ein schöner Drone. Ich liebe es 🤘

Deepest, darkest, hardest acid blues you will ever hear. Wild...dungeon shit. Nothing beats it.

Exeter 1989 Supported by WDE and Godflesh, they are seared into my retinas to this day, one of the best gigs of my life
Damn! This is the best song I stumbled across this year.
For the heaviest psych; lush and stark simultaneously, there is no other. Live there are no words.....
immer noch großartig
One of my all time favorite bands. I saw them at the I-Beam in San Francisco in the late 80's. One of the BEST shows I've ever seen!
Far and away my favorite band.
I can't believe I missed out on this when it came out. Would've made some good makeout sesh music back in the day :)
