      3 No 1s ?
what were they? I 've seen people repeat they had one each but 3?
the songs are only really considered no 1 if it's in the uk or the US .
Freddie had a no 1 UK with Bo Rap (9 wks)
US no 1 with crazy little thing called love
( re arranged version of living on my own was uk no 1 after his death)
John had a US no 1 with AOBTD
      under pressure no 1 uk
was a Queen collab with David Bowie
Innuendo was uk no 1 Freddie and Roger
Rogers day of our lives wasn't no 1 independently it was double A side with Freddies Bo Rap after his death
(he hasn't had any independant no 1)
Brian didn't have a no 1 while Freddie was alive
Rock you was no 1 in 2000 but not Queen version but with five live

      @@bluebell3720 Just taking Taylor:
Radio Ga Ga by Taylor was No1 in 7 countries, (sure, not UK/US, It's still a number one), it was No2 in Oz UK and Germany.
Maybe I should change the claim to sales, either way technically it's right. A Kind of Magic hit No1 in Argentina and Spain. These Are the Days of Our Lives went to No1 because of Taylors song and Freddie's Death, everyone had BoRap.
Innuendo was written by Taylor/Mercury. That's four.

You talked about being shy in public, Freddie was very shy according to those close to him. In private he was completely different from his stage persona, very shy and reserved. Also very kind and generous. Did you know that Freddie's friends still get Christmas presents from him every year? Before his death, he arranged with a London store to deliver gifts to his friends every year, even today.

Hope you’ve noticed that all of Brian’s solos are extensions of what Freddie is singing. By the way: Freddie was quite an introvert as well. If you watch interviews with him, he mostly presents as soft-spoken and reserved - but! His stage persona was such a release for the guy who was just bursting with creative energy and fabulous famboyance for everyone. The world of psychology has recently explored these aspects of personality and coined the term "highly sensitive people" (or HSP's), who are frequently introverted - because genuinely the feels (both internal and external) register more loudly. Freddie was definitely in that category, from my opinion, and I think chances are good that Brian May and some others were similarly wired.
    Long Live Creative Sensitive Introverts!!

I love your reactions! But what I love love even more is that you are helping others experience the phenomenon that is Queen. I sincerely thank you for that! Freddie died in November 1991, when I was 10 years old. I myself did not discover Queen until my early teens. My mom listened to it on a record player, I’ve been in love with this band ever since. I was made fun of endlessly throughout my 20s and 30s, for listening to queen. For answering “what is your favorite band?” Queen. The fact that you’re helping others discover this art and helping them see that there are still beautiful things in this world is amazing. Thank you again sir!

I hit subscribe at that moment. I love your honesty and as someone who watched the live Aide concert back in the day and cried when the news announced his passing, it’s a true joy to watch someone from a younger generation fall in love with Freddy and Queen the way I did when I was a little girl. I discovered them when I was a pre-teen.
You’ve got me smiling from ear to ear. I’m going to send this reaction video to my mother because I know she’ll love watching you go off just as much as I did! 😊
I think I’ll just go watch the rest of your reactions now because I think it’ll be nice to rediscover my love of old artists by experiencing your fresh, unabashed, purely honest take on songs that I’ve lived for decades.
Thanks so much for making my day!

I love this song. After years of listening to it, I started taking the lyrics a different way. He lived his life full force. He didn't want to change his lifestyle and wanted to live life on his own terms. When the music starts to slow a little at the end and fade, it's sad and almost prophetic of the end of his life.
Glad to see the younger generations listen to their music. It's awesome.

For those who dont know yet, the book series, now a TV series, Good Omens features in England w/a character whose car seems to always have all the music that gets left in it, spontaneously turn into Queen cd's and tapes. the writers said it was to represent how, for a while, that was what seemed to happen to everyone's music in Britain. It just somehow magically transformed into tapes and cd's of Queen! 😄 And THATS how Queen will reign forevermore ♥♥♥

I've been kinda lurking here watching you watch Queen and I'm living for it! Your reactions are fantastic! Honestly I feel any song you react to you're gonna love, but a handful of my favorites are I Want To Break Free, Nevermore, and I Was Born To Love You.

Another fun fact for your Queen journey is Brian May, one of the greatest guitarists, is also an astrophysicist!

So true what you said....'you only live once, so enjoy every minute of it!' Love it. You are such a positive guy! When I need to cheer myself up, I'll put this song on in my bedroom and dance like a crazy person. And I'm 60!

My God, this reaction was hilarious! I feel you, brother!
    Very well put... 😁😁👍😎
When I was a teenager, I used to hang out with these two beautiful girls, we would put this on the record player and dance our hearts out. I miss those times so bad, so lucky to have grown up with music like this!
    "We will rock you". 👍👍🎶

Did you know Queen wrote and performed the soundtrack to an entire movie? Back in the early 80s. Called Flash Gordon, it's what I like to call a Popcorn Movie. Utterly cheesy, but fun to watch. Or, like Freddie would have said, "Enjoy the ride, Darling". And yeah, I got to listen to all their songs as the came out, and I even have a couple of their albums. Real albums, on vinyl, with the totally awesome cover art and all. I think my first one was News of the World. Now I've totally dated myself (I'm 57, Gen X). Queen pretty much defined my generation.

My Dad introduced me to Queen in 1990.I was inspired by his voice. I was devastated when he died of AIDS. He's at his best performing live! That's why he's at his best performing live on stage ! 💕
