Maybe I should change the claim to sales, either way technically it's right. A Kind of Magic hit No1 in Argentina and Spain. John AOBTD / I Want to Break Free No1 in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal and South Africa / Damn!, I thought You're My Best Friend was No1 in Canada, it was No2 Yup I'm wrong :)
You talked about being shy in public, Freddie was very shy according to those close to him. In private he was completely different from his stage persona, very shy and reserved. Also very kind and generous. Did you know that Freddie's friends still get Christmas presents from him every year? Before his death, he arranged with a London store to deliver gifts to his friends every year, even today.
Wow! I din't know this. I remember reading that one of his roadies said Freddie had given him his xmas present early because he just couldn't wait - it was April!!! 😂😂😂😂
Hope you’ve noticed that all of Brian’s solos are extensions of what Freddie is singing. In a recent interview he said he always wanted to make his guitar an extension of Freddie’s voice.. he would play his part then hand it back to Freddie to continue!! They are brilliant.. unbeatable.. especially live!! Thanks for an excellent reaction!

For somebody that was a Queen fan back into the '70s. I love seeing younger generations appreciate the music we loved. When I was clubbing back in the day Queen song would get everybody up and moving.
Mate....your responses to music of my era (I am 64 years old) are so joyous...so wonderful watching you "Get It"...the artistry and the craftsmanship of these past hits. I hope you explore more and more of the past music. Peace and love from Australia...take care.
I have to tell you, I am 67 years and Queen was my era, have always been a huge fan, but watching you react to hearing them is giving me such joy! Keep going!!!!!!!! Love your videos 😊
By the way: Freddie was quite an introvert as well. If you watch interviews with him, he mostly presents as soft-spoken and reserved - but! His stage persona was such a release for the guy who was just bursting with creative energy and fabulous famboyance for everyone. The world of psychology has recently explored these aspects of personality and coined the term "highly sensitive people" (or HSP's), who are frequently introverted - because genuinely the feels (both internal and external) register more loudly. Freddie was definitely in that category, from my opinion, and I think chances are good that Brian May and some others were similarly wired. Long Live Creative Sensitive Introverts!!
I love your reactions! But what I love love even more is that you are helping others experience the phenomenon that is Queen. I sincerely thank you for that! Freddie died in November 1991, when I was 10 years old. I myself did not discover Queen until my early teens. My mom listened to it on a record player, I’ve been in love with this band ever since. I was made fun of endlessly throughout my 20s and 30s, for listening to queen. For answering “what is your favorite band?” Queen. The fact that you’re helping others discover this art and helping them see that there are still beautiful things in this world is amazing. Thank you again sir!
Love your reactions 💓 a really fun song. Actually Freddie was really really shy off stage, he was unable to go anywhere without someone with him, he was also very insecure, not with his music, but about himself.

Thanks so much for making my day!
I love this song. After years of listening to it, I started taking the lyrics a different way. He lived his life full force. He didn't want to change his lifestyle and wanted to live life on his own terms. When the music starts to slow a little at the end and fade, it's sad and almost prophetic of the end of his life. Glad to see the younger generations listen to their music. It's awesome.
Based on a scientific study, this song was found to be the happiest song on earth! I can believe it….you can’t listen to this song without smiling and moving. This is a happy song about living life to the fullest. It doesn't matter what you do, how you act, or where you go, people will try to steal your joy. So, don't ever let others interfere with your life. It's way too short the way it is. Live, love, laugh, and be happy!

Freddy died in 91. They had written some years ago before a song not released. When Freddy passed away, the 3 others members decided to sing this song : No one but you, only the good die young. Listen to this sad and beautiful song
When I was a kid and had to clean my room, I'd play this and my room would be done in 10 minutes. If not my mom would come back 3 hours later and say, for the love of God just put Queen on anyway will you?
Good music never grows old, actually it gets more and more popular, The other day, I was just thinking that the Beatles were kind of the first rock band to use and value the harmony vocals, meaning Queen had a precursor on that style. But Queen were more theatrical in their use. Continue reacting, it doubles the fun!

This was the first Queen song I learnt how to play on the bass in a Belgian rock band and my goodness was it fun to learn and play. Just me and the singer (bass and vocals, no drums or guitar) and the parts are so strong, they propell the song - so much energy to it. Brilliant writing and playing from these guys - a totally iconic song.
I've been kinda lurking here watching you watch Queen and I'm living for it! Your reactions are fantastic! Honestly I feel any song you react to you're gonna love, but a handful of my favorites are I Want To Break Free, Nevermore, and I Was Born To Love You.
So true what you said....'you only live once, so enjoy every minute of it!' Love it. You are such a positive guy! When I need to cheer myself up, I'll put this song on in my bedroom and dance like a crazy person. And I'm 60!
My God, this reaction was hilarious! I feel you, brother! Very well put... 😁😁👍😎 When I was a teenager, I used to hang out with these two beautiful girls, we would put this on the record player and dance our hearts out. I miss those times so bad, so lucky to have grown up with music like this! "We will rock you". 👍👍🎶
Did you know Queen wrote and performed the soundtrack to an entire movie? Back in the early 80s. Called Flash Gordon, it's what I like to call a Popcorn Movie. Utterly cheesy, but fun to watch. Or, like Freddie would have said, "Enjoy the ride, Darling". And yeah, I got to listen to all their songs as the came out, and I even have a couple of their albums. Real albums, on vinyl, with the totally awesome cover art and all. I think my first one was News of the World. Now I've totally dated myself (I'm 57, Gen X). Queen pretty much defined my generation.
Now I have binged your Queen-reactions and I just love your response to their music. I have loved Queen since their first album and seeing you is like seeing myself back in the 70-80ties. ❤
My Dad introduced me to Queen in 1990.I was inspired by his voice. I was devastated when he died of AIDS. He's at his best performing live! That's why he's at his best performing live on stage ! 💕
This was studied by scientists they said it was the happiest song ever.
Love your Queen reactions.

Very well put... 😁😁👍😎
When I was a teenager, I used to hang out with these two beautiful girls, we would put this on the record player and dance our hearts out.
I am feeling this Man crush You got going on, welcome to the Freddie Fan Girl club.
I wrote Don't Stop Me Now on my graduation hat lol. Never gonna regret that I didn't do that! This song is really a gift to the world
Unbeatable performer. Nice reaction Dud. Love all the joyous comments !
Yep, me and my kids when they where small, we would destroy the living room dancing to this song
My favourite of all time!
This is often voted the most joyful song of all time!! Now you know why!!!!!!!😁
My favorite queen tune! Great memories 👍🏻🌻❤️
He was very extroverted on stage but he was a very shy, quiet person in private.
Truth !
We all wish we had a little Freddie in all of us....😆. I was lucky to get to see them twice in the mid eighties ♡
Thank you for your amazingly genuine reaction Queen Rocks forever
I don’t always comment but, I’m here, enjoying your reactions.
This first and then Prince "Let's go crazy" and you have double high energy!
