I became a single mother after my husband left me and my child. I returned home after a long time away, but my family didn't accept a single mother living in their house. They evicted me and gave me a small piece of land on the edge of the forest. My new life began there. I tried to build a new life, constructing my own house, and foraging for food in the forest to sell at the market to earn money for my living expenses.
Days passed as I worked hard to live well and maintain good health so that my child could have a good life like other children. Throughout my journey of building a new life, many people have quietly helped me by giving me essential items for daily living and even assisting in building my house. The coming times will not be easy for a single mother like me, but I will strive for a better new life.
