@neva2muchrice , yes, I agree. we set-up the snake cheng with the butterfly-knives facing 'straight down' for the fangs, and the oranges sit in the handles for the snake's eyes. but, every school does it differently.
I'm confused...I was taught that if there's an X anywhere in the cheng setup then that's death to the lion if he were to solve the puzzle. There's an obvious X with the butterfly knife crossing each other. I mean, I know every school is different and cheng are interpreted differently too but I think this is an important factor that can be made clear before the owner take away the li xi.
no matter new school or old school. the logic is the same ! u dun eat the snake eye from the front. U cme from behind step on the body and eat the eye concurrently an then row our from the snake bobdy.....
