International students have the opportunity to stay in some secondary school dormitory rooms with spare capacity. All the rooms are double, with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen. Access to the internet is available in all dormitories. The price of rooms depends on the type and size of the room. The average price per person per month in a double room is 80 - 160 EUR. Beds are given to students on a “first come first serve” basis.

Foreign students have the opportunity to stay in three different student dormitories in Maribor - Gosposvetska, Tyrševa and Quadro. The number of beds is limited and they are offered on a “first come first serve” basis. Applications for student dormitory accommodation can be made after acceptance at the University of Maribor. You can expect an email with all information in July for the 1st semester or in January for the 2nd semester.
All rooms are double, with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen. The price of rooms depends on the location (approximately: Gosposvetska - €540/semester, Tyrševa €550/semester and Quadro €850/semester).

The Primorska region offers only a few low price student accommodation facilities, so there is no guarantee where a student will be placed, if at all. There are two dormitories in Koper and one in Portorož. The prices range as follows:
Student dormitory - shared room: EUR 190 (shared room, expenses included)
Private flat - shared room: EUR 150 - 250 + expenses
Private flat - private room: EUR 200 - 300 + expenses
Studio apartment or 1 bedroom apartment: EUR 400 - 500 + expenses
2 bedroom apartment: EUR 600 + expenses
