This is actually the band I'm named after and I can honestly say I'm proud to have been named after great rock band Britney is the greatest I still have the Britny Fox music video from the 80s still works
Wow, brings me right back to 1989 when I was freshman in HS. Riding that damn bus and listening to this song was a great escape. Looking forward my third period class every morning hoping to see Kara sitting in front of me. This cd didn't leave my backpack for months! Has the perfect amount of rock, feel good swagger. Still to this day, I listen to this band. Bite Down Hard's track Look My Way has the same feel to me. As for Kara, nothing became of it cause my friends said she was ugly but I didn't think so. Shouldn't have listened to them. Man, today's music I feel doesn't even come close to what the 80's/early 90's brought us. It provided soundtracks to some awesome memories.
I now right where youre at dude ... I feel 15 again listen to this stuff. Man already invented time travel, its right here in the music of the 80's Metal bands ...
I honestly believe that either the record company or MTV didn't push this single because it should have gone top 40. This is much better than Save the Weak. Boys in Heat has some very strong material. The cover of Hair of the Dog is the best I've ever heard.
this song should’ve been a hit!!! there are so many talented musicians from the eighties that truly never get the recognition they deserved and it’s honestly upsetting.
This song was a hit. Girlschool did much better than it should have. Funny, I accuse them of being a "Poor man's Cinderella", not knowing that half this band was in Cinderella just before the recording of Cinderella's debut album "Night Songs". I wonder where he got the idea to sing lead in and out of falsetto?
it is a hit to you and to me and a bunch of other people unfortunately the record labels don't have a freaking idea what good music is because they have their heads up their asses back in the day ... And still do today to be honest with you because as you can tell there's no good music even today that will ever come close to what was back in the day... stay frosty my friend long live rock and roll 🤘🤘.
The thing is, there were a million bands that all played this same song, wore the same makeup and used the same hairspray. In September of 1991 they ALLLLLL disappeared overnight. There's a reason for that.
Saw Britny Fox live opening up for Poison back in 1989 on the Open Up and Say Ahh Tour. This was an 80s band that could've been bigger. Even their follow-up to their self-titled debut called, Boys in Heat was good. Damn you grunge music! I know, times change. But I sure miss the 80s and feel good music!
+80sHairBandFanToo I agree the grunge music ruin the heavy metal, hard rock music, but also the self indulgence of so many opportunistic bands made by the record labels with more pose than music. we the ones that lived and enjoy this music didn't found good music to follow through the 90's and i'm sure if we had it we would support it, and would show MTV and the music industry our demand would had to be noticed.
but Dizzy quit the band soon after the 2nd record was released. in the middle of a tour Dizzy quit. very, very lame. Dizzy let down all their fans and the band/the crew
No idea why this song wasn't a huge hit since it's a classic (and good) radio-friendly song from an era when this type of band still had airplay. Even now it's completely overlooked, as the only Britny Fox songs I ever hear on Sirius (Hair Nation) are Girlschool and Long Way to Love
Some of my best highschool memories has this album ( or rather , cassette ) playing in the background. As well as the first one too. They rocked. Still love it all today.
Great band. Saw then at my go to club, The Empire Rock Club in Philly. Damn I miss the 80's, Great music, real rock clubs, women galore and not a care in the world.
my brother introduced me to this band. I was a big Cinderella fan at the time and noticed the similarity in the music. I loved their 1st album and after hearing this song, I was like taken away, really enjoyed it. now, tastes have changed and things have changed and now as a death metal singer, this song still takes me away. I love it
+Too Wild according to several I can't I guess. I'm tone deaf so I always record my voice and play it back. Lower tones I sou do pretty decent I guess, but I like the intensity and aggression death metal provides, helps to release a lot of stress and my growls sound pretty good
Andy Zaring I was just fucking with you dude.Although death metal was never my genre.I find that most are very talented musicians, the vocals I can't deal with, but hey, that's just me.Carry on !
I never forget Bite down hard album which is really a peak of the glam metal. Really talented and unfortunately forgotten band. The 3 albums they made was close to perfect!
I remember them well they were on the chart when I was just a kid heading in to my teenage years . There were so many bands spawning up every day back in the time hair band
This song is one of my favorite songs from these guys, when I get lost I remember that life with all it's experiences is still worth the adventure. Dream on & Rock on, will see each other in the end 👿:)!!!+++
Hoje em diante não se faz tão belas canções como essa, pois uma linda canção sempre teve um sentido, conquistar os fãs com muito respeito e amor, valeu Britny Fox, dream on é super d+
Beautifull im visit USA in 1997 a great country ( the best in my way of think ) and this country take the best musicians of Rock & Roll in the world this song sound amazing BRITNY FOX GREAT BAND !!!!!!!
A great song Dizzy Dean has a powerful beautiful voice that touches everyone's heart a good song writer great guitar player. A great video that made you dream about your life. Britney Fox was a good 80s band great growing up in the 80s MTV Head Bangers Ball when heavy metal rock music was great 😎🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🌹🌹❤️❤️🏋️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸🎸🌹
I love dizzy and he is the sexiest rock god ❤i hope the songs are in my head and I am looking for a rock god and the band members are the sexiest rock gods
Ummm are you saying that you don't understand the words ?? I can sing this sone from beginning to end I know all of the words ...I also sing this song along with standing in the showdows, girlschool & long way to love too my daughter ever night
I remember when MTV was premiering this video and I hadn't heard the song yet. I was so sure that this was going to be a cover of Aerosmith's classic hit; especially, with his vocal style and the fact that Aerosmith's star was rapidly on the rise again in 1989 with their new hits. Oh well. The tune was alright but I preferred their first singles.
Michael Kelly Smith from Britny Fox is thinking of doing a reunion with all the original band members, including Dean Davidson. ❤😊
Psych
This is actually the band I'm named after and I can honestly say I'm proud to have been named after great rock band Britney is the greatest I still have the Britny Fox music video from the 80s still works
Brittany Ehlert that’s really cool. They were one of our local bands while I was going to high school.
My name is led Zeppelin
@@melanierxdoc LUCKY YOU !!!
Brittany.. & you're like your name and this song... Beautiful!!
Omg! Me too!🤣 brittany’s unite!
Very under rated band these guys ROCK !!!!!
I'm still listening to this album and it's almost 2021
Bands these days can't touch the great sounds of the late 80s
Truth!
I have to agree
1st time, only knew Girlschool. Also the female brit band.
I almost agree. I’d say Airbourne does. They have the rock sound, the rock look and the rock voice.
I'm listening to this song in 2024
What a great song from a totally underrated band. I wish they would reunite before it gets too late.
I love reading all these "back then stories." What great fucking times!

+darrennz2008 Well said!!! I love time travel! Going to listen to Britny Fox's song Over and Out! Happy traveling!
always loved to crank long way to love
Kevin Salvini
I know what you mean man,I was a sophomore when this hit the streets.Great memories of the best times in life.
Every song from Britny Fox is stunning.
This video is still helping me get through in life. Thanks, guys.
9 years later...how you doin??
Well it looks like you have issues
Damn straight!
Same
Hey baby. It's all good Monica.
Just turn it up.
Shame this world for not making this a radio hit mainstream song. Such a masterpiece. God bless America 🇺🇲
I REALLY miss good guitar rock.
Yeah yeah YEAH !!!!!!!
So do I:)
What other type of rock is there?
None people just try to call it different names. Why couldn’t we just give it regular names
Музыка, вокал и сам клип - ништяк!
Продолжение синдеRеллы "coming home"
I honestly believe that either the record company or MTV didn't push this single because it should have gone top 40. This is much better than Save the Weak. Boys in Heat has some very strong material. The cover of Hair of the Dog is the best I've ever heard.
the main problem was Dean abruptly quit the band in the middle of the tour for their second album.
Hair of the dog cover is fucking awesome.
I love this song, so much. It is inspirational, and, it freaking rocks. I have loved "the fox" for years.
Still sings to us pushing 50 years old.I still Dream On...
I remember this video playing on MTV in the spring of 1990 when I was in the 5th grade. Great memories
The most underrated banger of all time.
Great times, late 80's, early 90's...when this kind of music was on top of the world.
Awesome tune from the 1989 CD "BOYS IN HEAT". SO UNDERRATED !
80s has best music. It was great time. There is nothing good today.
this song should’ve been a hit!!! there are so many talented musicians from the eighties that truly never get the recognition they deserved and it’s honestly upsetting.

I love this band since the eighties and they are rock gods and I am in the heavy metal and rock music and head banging rock music
Saw Britny Fox live opening up for Poison back in 1989 on the Open Up and Say Ahh Tour. This was an 80s band that could've been bigger. Boys in Heat wasn't good. That album was great. One of my TOP 5 albums.
i miss this music and those times too..a lot. i did love the 90's too though and all the talent that came from it. I just for sure do not like now!
If it wasn't for Dizzy Dean, I don't know that Britny Fox would have ever got off the ground . Every band needs a great front man !
*hit song writer
but Dizzy quit the band soon after the 2nd record was released. in the middle of a tour Dizzy quit.
very, very lame. Dizzy let down all their fans and the band/the crew
@@javtimestwo yeah I think he regrets that one though, although he did them dirty he's still my favorite
Well I remember hearing one of the guitarists stole money
yeah dizzy dean was awesome but i loved michael kelly as well from cinderella
No idea why this song wasn't a huge hit since it's a classic (and good) radio-friendly song from an era when this type of band still had airplay. Even now it's completely overlooked, as the only Britny Fox songs I ever hear on Sirius (Hair Nation) are Girlschool and Long Way to Love

Nah!
Definitely
It is
One of my favorites!! What a cool band.

This song mirrors a time in my life that I will never forget.
Great band. Saw then at my go to club, The Empire Rock Club in Philly. Damn I miss the 80's, Great music, real rock clubs, women galore and not a care in the world.
RVZANT00 spot on!
I was there front row my friend! Tommy Conwell was also a band I loved to go see there.
I remember the empire...

If I remember correctly, I think Tom Kiefer of Cinderella produced Britny Fox. I could be wrong but there are so many similarities
+Andy Zaring So you can't carry a tune in a bucket?
+Too Wild according to several I can't I guess. I'm tone deaf so I always record my voice and play it back. Lower tones I sou do pretty decent I guess, but I like the intensity and aggression death metal provides, helps to release a lot of stress and my growls sound pretty good

Hey no problem Too Wild, I was just explaining my part. You be safe man
i named my daughter after this song, was listening to it while in labor with her, brings back somany memories of that time :)
My favorite song by the band. Wish they were still together...😢
Took lessons from their guitarist when I was 15. Mid 90s
Just one of the best that got passed over! Top drawer!
I love this band then and still do..I named my daughter Brittany inspired by this song..i wish life was how it was then ..I LOVE YOU BRITTANY-AMBER💜
These guys were supposed to be the next Bon Jovi, but they came to late to the party called the 80s! Still left memorable music.
Dean quitting the band in the middle of the tour for their second album didn't help any.
I never forget Bite down hard album which is really a peak of the glam metal. Really talented and unfortunately forgotten band. The 3 albums they made was close to perfect!
indeed that album was glam metal perfection
Hey all , this song is a Country amplified to Rock.... Road Song.... Great acustic guitar riffs with electric guitar solos !

This song is one of my favorite songs from these guys, when I get lost I remember that life with all it's experiences is still worth the adventure. Dream on & Rock on, will see each other in the end 👿:)!!!+++
Great song, Dean nicely shows off his more melodic side here.

Beautiful music beautiful voice nice band
❤ love this one!
Love this one too ❤ ❤
Boys in heat is in my opinion one of the most Underrated Hard Rock/Glam albums of the 80's
Agree 👍 ❤
Awesome Song! Great Band!\m/
I really liked the sleeze/blues metal scene which came out of Glam metal.
Who's still rockin to Britney Fox in 2021!!😀✌👍❤
The cheesiness of the lyrics in this song can't be understated but dammit, I love it!
Ummm are you saying that you don't understand the words ?? I can sing this sone from beginning to end I know all of the words ...I also sing this song along with standing in the showdows, girlschool & long way to love too my daughter ever night

My boyfriend James is Dean Davidsons cousin from Philly........great song!!!!Rock on!!!!!
Hell, it's December of 2023 and I'm STILL rocking!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hard Rock 80s never die!
Remember this when they supported Alice Cooper at Wembley. Bought the album next day, the only album I ever bought from a support act...
I love this song
It's so pity that they had some problems and everything broke up :(
I remember when MTV was premiering this video and I hadn't heard the song yet.
