I was thinking, recently. This is a nice place to visit. No matter what’s going on, in the world. This channel is like it’s in a whole other world! 😂 It’s been a minute, since I’ve watched. But I’m back and I’ve been, binge watching. I think I’ll keep doing this. Catch up…take a break. Let the content build up.
It's really not a bad idea for a fairground operator. Have a stationary park you can retire your rides too and have some permanent attractions, as well. Interesting idea. Maybe let some of the staff work there when the fairs aren't touring. Not sure.@@friso7762
The Flume "Wildwasser III" was once the largest travelling flume in the world. It was a custom build by Mack Rides on 60 trailers, and often travelled by train through Germany. They actually had multiple support structures for the ride, so they could start building at a new fair while the ride was still running at another fair.
Really enjoyed that vlog always great to see a new park especially one with querky rides. It was Bagatelle that had those funny bikes that you went on.
Haven’t watched you guys for so long as times have been hard. Can I just say thank you, immediately just put a smile on my face love you guys so much ❤
General advice is never seek a job for the money , don’t make money your goal. Do what you a absolutely love - what you are passionate about - and if you work hard money and accolades will follow and you retain integrity . This channel is a prime example of making a career out of a passion .
What a fun quirky park! Interesting how it seemed to on a farm with all that land. I loved that flume ride. Truly the most unique version I've ever seen.
Shawn and Charlotte, I really liked that park because it's differnt in many ways. Someone is really creative, which shows you don't always have to have massive attractions to have fun. I sunny day would have been nice, but I am impressed that almost every ride was open and had attendants...amazing, eh? The vibes were wholesome and fun. I can't believe the flume ride travelled!!! Cheers, Rik Spector
I get Pleasurewood Hills vibes from this one. Where they buy second-hand rides and plop them down. And I do love both of these parks, and they both have much room for expansion in the future.
Hi guys love the vlog, you mentioned at 36:19 where your on the funky bikes. They were at Thorpe park when it first opened, back in the day ! As always have fun love all your vlogs, keep on riding ❤
Never seen a log flume ride like it, it’s massive and goes on and on. Great park which I’ve never heard of before. That Spike coaster reminds me of your Disney Cruise.
I had the season pass for about 14 years and visited almost every second weekend, so get ready for a rant that probably no one even reads anyway. It is a lot, but I have a lot to say about this park. (2 very closeby recommended parks included at the end) The bridge at the end of the videowas the main pathway since the field in the middle was owned by a farmer. - Skyrider was my first inverted coaster. Love it for it's family friendly ride. Capacity is really aweful, though. - Sky Wheel is just pure fun. The restrains can really hurt your belly after some rerides, but still. Very fun and fantastic hangtime. The backcar can get a bit shaky, but not too bad and still enjoyable. Got a few rides where the holding brake didn't work and it took about 20 minutes before we were able to get off, but I think it's a special credit^^ - The ghost train was the old "Geisterschlange" from the german fairs, but from another showman. Löwenthal (the owners of this park) were mostly around with the "Pirateninsel" Log Flume and the Sky Circle, a Zamperla Turbo Force. - I miss the backdrop from the Sky Circle (now on the Looping Alois flatride for whatever reason). It looked better then in my opinion. It swings awesome though. Another park nearby got the same model now (Park in Geiselwind, germany) - The SBF pendelum is very boring compared to other models. I personally prefer the Jet Force models from Mondial if you wanna have a similar look. More forces in the swings and great hangtime while providing a similar asthetic. - I don't get why the park got the prototype Spyke coaster. This park has a massive problem with crowds on holidays and the capacity is more than aweful. It's a shame since it's a real fun ride with more airtime then I expected. It wasn't shaky at all last year, so this is concerning to hear from you. - The Log Flume is fantastic. Nothing negative to say. It's amazing to ride and the height is quite thrilling. - The old Wiegand Bobcart ride was amazing. You could choose your own speed and is powered by an electric motor in the vehicle. Long track on this. And you guessed correctly: It went through the tunnel you pointed out. Shame it got replaced by a SBF. - I love slingshots, but it's a shame they don't let you on board even with fixed cams. Good that other parks do. - I was surprised you didn't show "Zero Gravity" the Rotor ride where the floor below you slides down. - Skyfall used to have tilting seats. It broke a good while ago and they never fixed it. They had some awesome rides you didn't get to ride since they got removed, like the old Wildcat (back on the fairs now), Skyline Express (kinda like a Bayern Kurve), a Zierer Starshape and more. This Park does have some problems though: - Customer Service was very very aweful for me and they seem to not like critisism at all. - The quality of most rides went down. There were Schwarzkopf coasters back then and now they're giving us SBF's. - Staff can't handle crowds. This park likes to bring school groups in and they can fill the park outside of holidays. If that happens, you can prepare to wait more than two hours for the Sky Wheel thanks to heavy line jumping. - Ride ops should make a run around the gondolas to check the restrains, not to look on their phones with earbuds in. Not good in my opinion. Happened to me a lot. - Sorry that I can not find other words for the following, but the Splash Battle is a joke. I mean, look at it. Even the kids here find this boring. - A lot of rides are rusted quite badly or look run down. I feel sorry for the ferris wheel, "Alte Liebe" pirate ship ride and the Skyfall All that made me skip the season pass for this year. It's a shame, I pretty much call this my second home. It hurts to see it now compared to back then. It really hurts. I can provide two alternatives for the next trip, in case you didn't visit them already: • Freizeitland Geiselwind. Huss classics like a Shot'n'drop or Break Dance 3, a Vekoma Boomerang that is indeed smooth!!!, a Interpark Wild Wind that is the roughest coaster I've ever been on, the prototype Zierer spinning coaster, Zierer Hell Diver, a Booster (same model as in this park), a free Sling Shot with an open gondola and more. It really is a fantastic park! • Bayern Park. My fav park. Beautiful placed in nature, a Maurer X-Car launched coaster with 4 inversions and 4,5g's, a 109m gyro drop tower from Funtime with nicer restrains than most, a new for 2023 Gerstlauer family coaster with a forward and a backward facing lap and 5 launches per full cycle and more. I highly recommend going there. Staff is super nice, prices are pretty good and the atmosphere is perfect. Paradise for families. Good vlog as always, thank you!
I want to make not a comment but, thanks to you two, I know I'm older than you for the parks, but I will never stop going there. I've been using UA-cam for several years like the whole world, I want to tell you that you were my first ever subscription to a UA-cam channel you are fantastic my wife also watches you and cried when you asked Charlotte to marry you your videos are full of useful information and I really hope to meet you one day around the parks to give you a big hug and thank you in person keep it up
I remember That the ride at the start of the Vlog was a type of ride you could build in a very obscure and probably not very well known Theme Park building game called ThrillVille Off The Rails. It was a very strange and quite Unrealistic coaster builder so I’m not sure it would be Shawns cup of tea when compared to the likes of Planet Coaster.
I didnt know anything when I first visited the park. I was so confused with all the empty fields and funfair attractions. So funny to see your first reactions to this bizarre park!
Quite a big and impressive park. I'm not really into log flumes, but it was quite spectacular. There's something fascinating about rides stacked on different levels.
The first big boy coaster I ever rode was called the Skyliner at Roseland Park in New York State. Its now relocated somewhere in Pa. I need to track it down and take another ride. This is an amazing park just for its size ... its huge! Great job guys!
Geisterschlange was the former longest traveling ghost train in the world and has appeared on Dusseldorf Fairground and Tilburg and Oktoberfest Munchen.
Watching the people on the first ride it seems you have to spin yourself by reaching up and pushing, rather than just sitting there looking terrified like Charlotte was haha 😀
Just watch ur flamingo land flog from early this year and i have been told that the lost river ride is getting re done up as I've stayed for few days and some roof work has taken place
my fave theme-park is the Efteling.... wonderful detail and nature..... well, i have seen loads.... of theme-park props over the years...... ghouls...sharks.....t-rex's..... vampires.... to list a few...when i was 6.0r 7...back in the day..... but even now.....that humpty dumpty.... from the blackgang-chine theme park.... gets the Gold -medal for being crazy-looking......he would give most kids nightmares i shit me jocks when i saw it at six years old......humpty is even more scary than the boris johnson -prop......if i ever win the lotto-jackpot... i will get one made exactly the same as that humpty.....its a classic.
I just yelled so YAY so loud when you said there will be a vlog at the end that I echoed through the neighborhood! I swear... you two are like my favorite people!
The starflyer isn't Oktoberfest-themed. It's top is designed like a church tower. Around the basement, you see several maypoles. White and blue are Bavaria's national colors.
Such a quirky park! With the manufacturer so close I wonder if they use it as their tester location for new ideas . Could use this video as a drinking game ; drink when you see Einstein lol
I think seriously if I went on a spinning coaster I would be sick although some rids I have been on at places that my mum and dad took me to when I was a kid you don't want to eat before you go on them otherwise you will definitely be sick.
You just can’t hate Shawn he’s always just so positive and kind; he is one of the only youtubers who reply’s most of the videos comments!
yess
Nice corner of the internet to hang out in 😊

Thank you so much for your kind words. We read all of the comments on our channel and really appreciate each and every one of them!
You are totally right that why I follow them and they are very cute together going everywhere
this flume ride was once the world’s biggest transportable water ride. skyline park bought it and it now stays permanently. i absolutely love it!
It is because the park is owned by a fairground operator.
It’s a great ride! Really enjoyed getting on it!
It's really not a bad idea for a fairground operator. Have a stationary park you can retire your rides too and have some permanent attractions, as well. Interesting idea. Maybe let some of the staff work there when the fairs aren't touring. Not sure.@@friso7762
Skyline Park is owned by the same family that travelled with it. So I'm not sure it is actually "sold"

It was very different!

Watching Charlotte on that ride was priceless 2:21
Yes that was funny. 😵💫😉
Charlotte talking about that corn 😂
Shawn and Charlotte,
I really liked that park because it's differnt in many ways.
Someone is really creative, which shows you don't always have to have massive attractions to have fun.
I sunny day would have been nice, but I am impressed that almost every ride was open and had attendants...amazing, eh?
The vibes were wholesome and fun.
I can't believe the flume ride travelled!!!

We had a fun day!
6:06 Condor! I remember Magic Mountain had one of these! That had to be…about, thirty years ago.! Nice to see one still in operation! ❤️
Such a classic!
I get Pleasurewood Hills vibes from this one. Where they buy second-hand rides and plop them down. And I do love both of these parks, and they both have much room for expansion in the future.

Thank you for sharing this vlog with us! I had no idea this park existed before today

It’s huge!
Never seen a log flume ride like it, it’s massive and goes on and on. Great park which I’ve never heard of before. That Spike coaster reminds me of your Disney Cruise.

Years ago there was a small play area in Skegness/ Ingoldmells near fantasy island that had those bikes 😂 they are crazy
Great Park a mixture of strange and a few self operating rides it would be busy in peak days thanks TPW
It was a great day
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the ride at 13:01
Quite a big and impressive park. I'm not really into log flumes, but it was quite spectacular. There's something fascinating about rides stacked on different levels.
It was amazing to see!
Awesome Video Guys 😄😄
Thank you!
Thanks for a good review! Im thinking of coming.
It’s a good park!
Shawn they had those funky bikes were at Lightwater Valley
That dodgems on a track was really cool. I can foresee that being a really awesome attraction if themed and a little faster, with some hills etc.
It was so much fun!
Well done Charlotte going on more water rides . Especially seen as the weather not all that good x
Thank you!
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the ride at 22:43. 22:46 25:40
Loved this vlog, it looks a great well run park. 6 hours drive from us, so will have to try and tie into a trip to Europa Park.
Thank you. We would definitely recommend a visit!
so excited!!
Starflyers terrify me at the best of times I'd probably pass on this one lol.
The first big boy coaster I ever rode was called the Skyliner at Roseland Park in New York State. Its now relocated somewhere in Pa. I need to track it down and take another ride. This is an amazing park just for its size ... its huge! Great job guys!

What a cute park with goats 🐐…Yeah Shawn get some momentum!! … the self swing ride was so funny 😂
It was a great day!
Geisterschlange was the former longest traveling ghost train in the world and has appeared on Dusseldorf Fairground and Tilburg and Oktoberfest Munchen.
Such a huge ride!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide is it still themed with ghosts everywhere around the course?
Duinrell also had those wobbly bicycles. Maybe you were thinking of that park?
Possibly so!
Charlotte your face hilarious
Watching the people on the first ride it seems you have to spin yourself by reaching up and pushing, rather than just sitting there looking terrified like Charlotte was haha 😀
Possibly so! 😂
Great vid
Thanks!
Gutten tag shaun and Charlotte hope you have a good weekend and hope to see you one day
Thanks!
Love a big red button 34:17

Could you identify what that piece of track was? 5:36
I tried to find out however it looked possibly fake or custom!
Fun fact turbulence which used to be at the park is the one that is currently in mellors yard waiting for work done
Thanks for sharing. It did indeed!

Great to see new parks :) I'm hoping you'll go to asia one day (especially Japan and who knows.... China? :p)
I visited in 2017 and would love to return!
Good video man
Thanks!
Charlotte wins the #GoodSport trophy for that crazy log flume ride 🏆😂
Such a big flume ride!
The starflyer isn't Oktoberfest-themed. It's top is designed like a church tower. Around the basement, you see several maypoles. White and blue are Bavaria's national colors.
Thanks for sharing!
I think You have good hair now days. Sean of course. Charlottes was always nice.
Thank you!
The bikes....... SHAUN All you need is a bit of momentum.... shaun near falls bike goes crash 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
uk theme parks could only dream of having this quiet of an off peak day
Such a quirky park! With the manufacturer so close I wonder if they use it as their tester location for new ideas . Could use this video as a drinking game ; drink when you see Einstein lol
We had a great time!
i'm dizzy ! 🤪 But it was funny. Greetings teddynash.
Thanks for watching!
Hold on 2 helix on first ride and you didn’t chant it out. 😩😩😄❤️
Oops! 😂
Tripsdrill has the weird pushbikes
We’re looking forward to returning in a few days!
I think seriously if I went on a spinning coaster I would be sick although some rids I have been on at places that my mum and dad took me to when I was a kid you don't want to eat before you go on them otherwise you will definitely be sick.
Charlotte 😂 loves a soaker ha ha
Oh yes! 😂
Yummy, beige on a stick
Is that Starflyer possibly the highest youve been on a ride bolted to the ground?
It’s huge!
Keep on riding even when it’s raining 😂
We always do!
My mind is blown that that flume used to be a traveling ride. 🤯
Crazy!
Wait a minute. Is that the same music that plays in adventure cove at Drayton manor?
It seems similar!
I was a bit worried about your safety on some of those lol
I’ve grown fond of you two. The star flyer looked absolutely disgusting! Just watching made my legs go funny . But it looks like a really cool park
Thank you!
Apparently in 2024 they will get a gerstlauer hyper coaster
Will be interesting to see!
