  • As paddlers of all skill levels know, one of the fundamental skills on the water is balance. For Adam Bratton, balance is more than the physical.
It means being both an adventurer and a family man. It means finding escapes close to home in suburban North Carolina and deep in the Alaskan backcountry. It means among all other life responsibilities, creating an organization and community focused on one thing - facilitating human powered movement in all of us.
Featuring a bike-to-boat self shuttle on the South Fork Catawba River, paddling with his 6-year-old on Mountain Island Lake, and an exploration of Lake Jocassee's famous waterfalls, this video was shot with the all new Cirrus Ultralight 110 in Adam's backyard.

The light weight kayaks produced by Aquaglide have allowed me to overcome my disability and enjoy the outdoor living that defines Oregon's culture. All my kayaks are easily carried and inflated from a chair and we've kayaked all over Oregon as a result.
The new lighter models will only ensure my kayking pleasure for years to come. Thank you.

Rob, thank you for this comment. Stories like this are exactly why we exist, and why we all love what we do here at Aquaglide. We're so glad to hear that our kayaks allow you to experience life on the water. Here's to many, many more good days exploring our beautiful backyard!

I assuming that kayak will be unstable in the wind

Unstable? Nope! Thanks to the TPU dropstitch floor and stiff, supportive side tubes the Cirrus is quite stable. Folks have been blown away by how well it paddles, especially considering it is less than 15 pounds. But don't ask us - ask the every day kayakers who own and paddle the Cirrus! @@AquaglidePlatinum while I do not have the Cirrus, I have the Chelan 120. I can tell you that this boat has exceeded every expectation in an inflatable craft including it’s performance in the wind.
