  • So, guess what happened to me on the bus in Berlin? Watch the video and find out how a bus driver asked people to stay clear of the doors. It was pretty descriptive! If you work with the public, as I do, it's really important to be respectful and polite at all times. Especially in stressful situations. In this video, I'll give different examples of how to say "Bitte halten Sie die Tür frei" in a polite and respectful way.

      Yes, indeed. I'm well used to it now and don't notice it. I also come across a lot of very friendly people, especially people I work with e.g. clients, students, colleagues. But, every now and then, the rudeness catches you by surprise and leaves you staring in surprise/ aghast! :-)
