From what I've seen, heard & read Christians have always been divided. With Halloween 🎃, some are against it--others will like the fun aspects of it & not necessarily the "scary" stuff. They don't take it as seriously as some other Christians will. Plus, Halloween tends to fade away after the first week of November.
Christians are likewise divided on Rock & Metal music, as well & probably for much the same reasons. I've already seen how even Christian Metal people are divided on the use of AI in pro-Christian music.
And even beyond the short-lived Halloween 🎃 season, I've known of Christians being divided over Christmas, in much the same way. There are those who will view it & Halloween & even Easter as being "too Pagan" & so forth.
Sorry to never have responded brother! Yes, those are good points. There are many divisions and differing opinions. I think the most reasonable way is to look at it the thing in question from many perspectives. As Christians (not sure if you are, but I'll speak from my POV), I would first see if something (Halloween, St Patrick's day, Christmas, metal music, and AI music) leads me closer to or away from God. That's fundamental: does dressing my kids up as Minecraft characters, how is that offending God? Or a guy getting wearing green and drunk and sinning in St. Patrick's day, how is that honoring God? I had labelled the song "counter-Halloween" in the more strict sense of a response to the evil stuff that does happen during Halloween, but not to the more modern and childish celebration aspects of it. Hope that made sense :)
God willed the evil into existence in the first place, along with the good. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these *things* ." --Isaiah 45:7, KJV.
I'd be careful with that one, though. Per a superficial passage search, the word "ra" (evil) could also be calamity. Also, evil could be moral evil, which God by nature could not create. I suppose why many translations use "calamity" or "disaster," and why theology needs philosophy too. :)
🎉

I roll my eyes at the title or description of this. This is very good, however--& with about the right amount of atmosphere, too.
Ty brother for the comment. Would you mind expanding why roll the yes at the title and description though?

God's mighty army is stronger, even if we only see it's full might at the End. We that are with Him shall prevail!
