    You missed mentioning GST charged by the bank on the interest, that will increase the total amount you actually pay against Product.

      Its Me The emi paid by you i.e Rs 3667 consists of both principle and interest amount. The bank charges you gst @18% on the interest amount which is included in the emi. The gst amount reduces every month because interest amount is calculated on reducing balance which keeps decreasing every time you make one payment.

    • @RahulDas-ro6ml
      @RahulDas-ro6ml 4 роки тому

      Its Me To answer your question, yes you will have to pay a bit more than Rs 3667.

      @Its Me I had purchased a laptop of 33240 and choose to pay by no cost emi. So I had to pay 5540 for 6 months. But when bank sent me the 1st bill off that emi, it was 5540 +67.
      So basically you have to pay a little bit more than the mentioned amount of emi.
      Hope I could make you understand what I mean.

    On no cost EMI one pays additional GST on the Interest charged by the bank/credit card. Generally all credit cards charge a interest say of 12%p.a. and then reverse the interest but then the GST is not reversed

    • @hardeepnarula
      @hardeepnarula 2 роки тому

      Do they reverse the interest? Because I just purchased a product on NO COST EMI but got an email that the amount of so and so has been converted into 9 EMIs at 14% reducing rate and processing fee. But it was no cost EMI till 9 months. Then why this interest?

  • @akshayrane3008
    @akshayrane3008 5 років тому +1

    You have put really great efforts!!
    Sabse important baat aapko batana chahiye tha ki EMI = Principal + Interest + 18% GST on Interest. Aapne sirf Principal + Interest ki baat ki. Customer always ends up paying GST extra and that's the loss.
    Dost kaunsa credit card 36% aur 18% interest charge karta hai aur kab? 36-42% tab charge hota hai jab koi statement billed amount partially ya zero ya minimum due pay karta ho, wo bhi bache amount pe lagta hai aur next bill me add hoke aata hai. Koi rare bank hogi jo 18% rate pe emi banati ho otherwise it is 13-14%. Credit Card is great tool if used correctly. Ispe bhi ek video banaiye, unbiased.

    Hi, I really liked your video. Few take away from your video for me are 1. Check if a new product is going to launch, 2. Check for No Cost EMI terms and conditions. One suggestion for your next video could be - These days companies(like Amazon) are providing No Cost EMI where they will give an initial discount equal to 6 months EMI Interest cost and then you will be charged EMI Interest from your bank. Is there anything we need to be cautious about these kind of schemes?

    Ismein ek baat aur bhi to hai... Main seedha leta to 20,000 ka phone le leta, lekin agar 1600 ya 1800 hi per month dene hain wo bhi bina byaj ke to koi aur badhiya phone le lunga na jo 2500 ya 2800 tak no cost emi par mil rha ho. Kyunki main 2500 ko 20000 se compare karunga aur wo bahot kam lagega. Jabki actually mujhe 30000 ke phone ki na to zarurat thi aur na hi meri pocket allow kar rahi thi.

    Nice information. One thing you missed. While taking no cost EMI for 3 or 6 months, banks are charging extra service charge on each EMI. So we as a customer has to incur such amount in consideration before moving to NOCOSTEMI. Let me know your view on this..
