I actually feel bad for any new players that go on Dynamis. I hope it gets populated soon. Seeing that long on a queue and maybe not knowing how to DC travel would be awful.
I hopped to Dynamis with a friend for housing. For a long time the issue was people DC hopping back for dailies, but then the between-patch slump happened and a lot of players went on hiatus. Dynamis queues are in a lousy place, and I eventually decided to take a break myself.
I put my third character on dynamis (halicarnasus as it happens) and yeah duty finder be like that even on roulettes. I pretty much always DC travel for it
That’s my exact server. Also the only server I know. I’m just used to it. But also still in Heavensward so I think for my msq level waits aren’t that bad during peak if you okay tank.
@@aSmolGoth Ive been lucky and have never got chrys on a non-melee so I always shout out taking the lb for tear. I remember back in the day everyone would hold their buffs before the black hole because they got extended after the arena shift but now that doesnt really matter cuz of outgearing

The real trash fire is malikah's well, that place is a meat grinder since every levelling tank is wearing gear 7+ levels below the dungeon's mobs. It's the worst lol
I love how weirdly threatening the Shadowbringers dungeons seem to be. Excluding Mount Gulg, every one seems to have some pull or trash pack that's just randomly very lethal.
The shout of "Nooooo!" as the reaper stood in the Shinryu tail slam and fell to their death. As a healer main I understand how it feels to have failed in protecting the newbies.
As someone who moved from Crystal to Dynamis to get my preferred housing plot, I can confirm a few things: 1) All queues on Dynamis are terrible. Even expert roulettes can take upwards of 20 minutes depending on time of day, and queues for old content can take hours, or simply never happen. 2) In the event you do get in a group for anything, the players are generally quite good. Not worth the wait generally, but if you're busy doing housing and don't want to DC travel it's something. 3) As much as I enjoyed having the perfect housing plot, I eventually got bored of having nothing to do and let my sub lapse. So when I come back for 6.4, I'll be homeless AND lonely. Funny video idea though. Look forward to whatever you come up with next!
you really should do zodiark for this series. zodiark is easily three times more of a wipefest than shinryu which doesn't do anything after the first knockback
The stat squish made a lot of the more “problem child” duties WAY easier. That being said. Cruise Chaser on normal gets people a LOT with the line of sight mech
Since the Moogle tomestone event started, I have gotten Cruise Chaser in the normal raid roulette quite a few times. We always wipe at least once thanks to the line of sight mech. Also gotten the Gorilla and Trash Compactor duites in there, also wiped to them, though not quite as often.
I have a recommendation for something to test. The Aetherochemical Research Facility. The final boss has been a wipe fest on several occasions when I get into it through Mentor Roulette. Keep in mind the boss was revamped recently which adds to the chaos.
Have been on primal since 2.0. Can confirm that we have very…uhh… “special” WoL’s. Hydaelyn probably called out on the day that a lot of them had to be chosen so random ones were drawn from a hat.

Let's be real, most of the players on Dynamis are just crystal players who wanted a house and a few sprouts who now believe the game is dead because no one is in queue.
@@whisperingshadowXI sad but true. Dynamis is the housing alt data center. I have an alt there who owns a large. To be honest, it feels incredibly bad finally getting a large after 5 years of playing, but existing in a totally dead server. I'm glad I didn't move my main.
I've found that the Dancing Plague and Mother Crystal Trials usually result in the most deaths/wipes. Folks seem to really struggle with the add phase of Dancing Plague and pretty much everything for Mother Crystal.
Gotta agree that Dancing Plague is probably the worst trial by far for normal mode painfulness. Early Shadowbringers content in general was considerably tougher for the average player. Still see way, way too many tanks go into Holminster Switch and Dohn Mheg massively under-geared and attempt to wall-to-wall pull, and die in about 2 seconds. Hell, even when they go in with proper gear, many players just aren't expecting the trash to hit nearly as hard as it does.
As a resident of Primal, yeah the results were about what I expected. Far as Dynamis goes, I have an alt over there and if you ever need to queue for a duty you have much better odds filling via PF than duty finder.

As a WHM on Crystal, I was thinking it'd be fun to play on Primal and put all that mechanic knowledge to good use, but trying to help someone who won't help themselves is exhausting, demeaning, and maybe letting them lay on the floor could encourage them to look at the fight instead of their hotbars...
As a crystal player (also specifically on goblin), I can feel good about that showing. :D I do feel bad for the folks playing on dynamis trying to get queues to pop. They need more people, and they need for the people who are there to stop traveling to different datacenters for queues. It's just creating a self-fulfilling loop; can't get queues to pop on dynamis > go to a different datacenter for queues > less people queueing on dynamis > can't get queues to pop dynamis.
Same, my character that is now on Goblin startered on Marlilth, and I was going to Crystal daily to do my dailies in order to get the queue to pop that day. I honestly feel SE should have added the servers to Crystal, Primal and Aether instead of making another DC.

They need to just connect all the DC's pfs/df. Everyone will always DC travel to the most populated place to do content, crystal pf has been dead since DC travel
In E11 when the mist phase starts and you search for the boss clones on the edges. I see a lot of people do that early but it's not needed/doesn't work: the clones aren't in position until somewhat "late" in the mist phase so there's no point searching for them until you see them in the enemy list. As a result, it might be confusing if you run all around the place and see nothing.
I dont know if you're going as a healer for the quick queues, but I think as a DPS the results could be different; since you don't have much interference in the fight. a healer that knows what they're doing can save a bad run
These were mostly instant death mechanics where being a healer can help save the run, but it can't help save any individual at one time. I assume he went on healer for that reason. And the queue times.
As an Aether resident, I'm surprised with the showing we had. Granted, I died like 3 times alone my first time in Menagerie. Also, as a lala, that lala army on Dynamis was amazing.
They roam around all the time. I am wondering if this was recorded the same evening I was performing on the Gridania plaza on Hali and they surrounded me.
Ok. I had to stop at 3:39 bc I was in tears with some dysfunctional mix of remembered laughter and tears. I ran these one time with a nearly full party and got carried let’s be real. The second time I took one for the team and ran WHM even tho this is my first mmo experience and in all reality as a healer I dance between mediocre and “pleb” when I am sober. This night though? Oh no. I was having IRL stuff and was wasted but yanno QUEUE times at 3am SO I healed. Badly. For the entire set lol. That one little cliff dive and it’s accompanying zoom just sent me. Thank you for that little moment ❤️ bc one little thing can trigger such memories for us all.
Suggestion: Play as a tank and see how low your health goes before you are healed. Basically, see which DC has the most aggressive (yet competent) healers.
thinking about when i had to holmgang in p7 normal bc the healer almost let me die to auto attacks 💀even after i had done my self heals, and even then they just gave me regen as my heal 💀
I just feel like Dynamis was introduced too little too late, especially in a post-Data Center Travel time. It's great to have more housing availability, and that their PF game is also strong. But it's really painful to see that queue times for duties are abysmal because people just outsource their DF'ing to literally any other DC, and that just continues to contribute to the bad DF times as a result. :(
You gotta try Mothercrystal trial in this series. I played it on all NA DC's (except Dynamis) in DF a few times each. Its been about 50/50 in terms of first pull success rates. It mostly comes down to if there's enough bodies on the Lightwave stack or if healers are capable of giga-healing through low body count (Tank LBs also have saved a few runs).
On the topic of knockbacks in Eden, theres a few more which are notorious for cleaning up the party list. E4 car/mega landslide and E8 heavenly strike come to mind for those, to a lesser extend can also happen in E3
I've had whole groups but me die to the pushes on titan, and as a solo warrior I was capable of soloing it, sure. The problem is that I don't WANT to have to kill him from 70% lol Another group insisted I just solo him from 50 after people just kept dying and wanted to be done lol
As someone on the Crystal Data Center (specifically the Diabolos server), I salute my Crystal brethren for doing us all proud (except for that Machinist....I kid, I kid!)! :P And that Lalafell army bit was way funnier than I expected! XD

Player from primal here: when I did shinryu normal for the MSQ, my group wiped 10x before the kill, most of the wipes where due the 2 tanks refusing to do the mechanics and I only did stick with that group bc the queue took almost 30 minutes Anyways, great video! :3
I had a fun time in Whorleater (hard) the other day. The party's damage was so inconsistent that no one could figure out the timing for the shield. Wiped about a half-dozen times
I've noticed that Dynamis has a ton of problems with their queues, most people leaves for other DCs just to get better queues. That just piles up to fewer and fewer people queueing on Dynamis.
Been doing my 2k mentor duties for the achievement on primal. And ima just reaffirm: you see some shit on those sb and shb leveling trials. (People not using duty action in lakhsmii, tidal wave, tsukuyomi can just be a mess, dancing plague tanks don’t pick up adds, vaughthry people don’t kill the tethered add) you get the point. Kinda just gotta help people the best you can, and sometimes drag dead bodies to the end
i play on primal and the last time i had a genuinely awful duty roulette experience was in 6.0. i used to have way more df disasters on normal mode duties during ShB fsr. for like the past year the worst ive experienced is low dps and/or new ppl who just don't know mechs yet but listen when explained to
I moved to Dynamis, and I tend to have to do all my trials, PvP, etc. on Crystal because there's nobody doing anything remotely close to a high-level content on the DC. I'm hoping things pick up on the next expac, as players migrate over for the housing.
As someone in the probably pretty small minority of very (relatively) experienced players that moved to Dynamis (from Primal originally) but not for housing, I've generally found that queueing for anything specific later in the game via DF is a fool's errand. PF, on the other hand, can and will at least fill rather quickly during prime time for tons of things. It still is a major hindrance that the primary way of getting into content quickly basically just doesn't function the same way as it does for people on other DCs, but roulette times at least outside of a few specific ones are actually getting better in my small anecdotal experience. So, for the choice I made, I've actually been happy and enjoying myself. I still think it's a problem they need to address pretty fervently as the incentives they have provided aren't really enough to bring Dynamis up to speed yet.
as a Crystal Goblin player myself that' wasn't such a surprise, I'd say that a fairly low percentage go badly, but when they do, they certainly do so in style sometimes.
The new Aetherochemical Research facility always seems to get someone killed if not wipe the party. I've had it wipe my party nearly 3 times before the group could clear it (healer just couldnt stay alive). I'd 100% suggest giving that one a try.
I always thought Crystal was bad but the one time I tried to do Eureka Orthos on Primal my tank died about 3 to 4 times per floor. It was somewhat entertaining until 71+ where I was happy that we finally wiped.
Hahahaha that "Primal, better luck next time" should have been something more of a "Primal, please, get your sh*t together". I play in primal and i see a lot of deaths in super easy duties. So, yeah, this is accurate. Great vid Haps!
I personally like queueing "problematic" duties as a healer because they give me more to have fun with. My big recommendations are Ruby Weapon, E7, Ridorana, Paradigm's Breach, Cruise Chaser, O7, E10, and maybe E9. The current state of the data centers is very sad right now. Dynamis can't pop anything, and PF is nuked everywhere but Aether. Three quarters of the people I raided with on Crystal have moved to Aether to have access to retainers and their Islands while they're in PF, and all but two people who moved to Dynamis have moved back to any other data center because Dynamis is dead on arrival.
fr PF being dead everywhere but aether really sucks because I usually like to chill on pf but I can't stay on primal to do it 😂 I would 100% move to aether but I have a house on primal so oh well. Farewell to retainers and island sanctuary for me 😭
I'm a healer main native to primal, and I'll just say there have been some instances (yes, plural) in duty finder where I've had to use Rescue off cooldown for the enitrty of the instance.
Usually if someone needs something in Dynamis, they will put up a PF and we'll shout it out in NN so it can get filled. We just don't have enough people to fill/queue for roulettes. People usually go to Aether or Primal to get roulettes done.
I never understood the pain of Duty Finder until I leveled my healers, outside of the early stages where I was still getting used to healing and on occasion let everyone die on Aurum Vale I had to break my back just keeping the DPS alive. Like holy hell dps just don't care on Primal for some reason, they will legit ignore mechanics to such a degree that I just cannot accept that they aren't doing it on purpose.
That healer moment of "aren't you going to get that? I just got the other one" is so painfully true. Unrelated, what was that glowing tiger looking mount at the end?
Yeah the queue times on Dynamis are pretty terrible. My alt is there and when I queued for Cyrcus Tower it took over an hour a couple months ago. It's a catch 22 of if you want good queue times you have to go to one of the other data centers but if you do you're contributing to the problem of long queue times on the Dynamis DC.
Go to Alexander raid which has the gorilla hitting the bomb away from the party and turning to birds to survive earthquake. The other one was the hands thing which has lava rising on one of the four quadrants. Those two has never failed to (at least from my experience) kill someone.
Loved the Lalafell group! But SMDH at my home DC Primal... NGL, not surprised by this, but I love Primal anyway and have a lot of fun there! Please keep making these!
It's interesting to see Dynamis still so dead. I can't help but think it was kind of a pointless addition that only really served to provide more housing and I kind of wish that had just been done on the already populated datacenters. Maybe once an expansion hits people will not want to DC travel to do content due to queue times and will try to actually do content on Dynamis. I feel like it's a compounding effect at the moment where people only went to Dynamis for housing and then everyone just goes back to their original DC to hang out making queues bad so everyone else trying to play on Dynamis has to follow the trend it just snowballs.

I’m on primal and the worst duties I’ve done in recent memory were actually this past week. I got Royal city of rabanastre and the orbonne monastery. They were both just outright miserable to play because of a combination of new players and the content drought has made above average players more scarce.
You've already done Dun Scaith and that would usually top the list. But here are a few others with mechanics that usually kill a bunch of people. Any time I've ever gotten cruise chaser in roulettes (on crystal datacenter), it's been a complete disaster. multiple full party wipes, people rage quitting. it's happened more than once
Megadeath in Weeping City ALWAYS catches people off guard... at least on Primal. After seeing this I'm starting to think that we're the exception and not the rule. I can't believe Sly PFs Savage on this DC LOL
Can confirm it catches people off guard on Crystal. Anywhere from 2-8 people the first time, then gradually fewer until he does that cast where you have to Zombify before he even starts casting Megadeth. That gets about 2-8 people again. That said, the airship fight on Dun Scaith has similar levels of mass death :D
Primal also seems to get a lot of returning players, and now travelers. I see more people now with the 'traveler' dead in PF on primal. Also to be fair many from primal also go over to Aether now. It would have been a far better 'test' of Data Centers before DC travel was a thing. Or just after it started.
I dunno if you're taking suggestions for 4 mans, but Lost City of Amdapor's final boss is a WALL if people don't know how it's done. Plus its early in the experience so maybe Dynamis might get in on the action.
I have characters on all NA DC's but my main is on Primal and I can confirm that what you experienced is very normal. In fact I'm kind of surprised that there were so few deaths on Primal, those fights usually go a lot worse. Also when it comes to the new DC it's kind of a self fulfilling problem. The queue times are terrible so people go to other servers to do their quest queue's for specific dungeons causing the roulette queue times to raise so then people go to other DC's for their dailies making the problem even worse. All of which results in what you saw. For reference I have a character on Halicarnassus, that I take to other DC's to queue for anything above level 50 MSQ.
Primal is always a mixed bag. Sometimes you get a full party of competent players, and then other times you get a party players who only hit their dps buttons and don’t even look at their screens to run the content
I just love primal for 1. They love to meme 2. The raid PF is more chill than Aether 3. They're just having their day 4. Alot of deaths despite easy mechanic in most normal raids, trials, and alliance raid because they're either don't know or just memeing for the f

I've found that the Dancing Plague and Mother Crystal Trials usually result in the most deaths/wipes. Folks seem to really struggle with the add phase of Dancing Plague and pretty much everything for Mother Crystal.
Mothercrystal is still the only normal duty where I’ve had more than one group vote to abandon. Light waves are just a pub stomper.
Gotta agree that Dancing Plague is probably the worst trial by far for normal mode painfulness.
Early Shadowbringers content in general was considerably tougher for the average player. Still see way, way too many tanks go into Holminster Switch and Dohn Mheg massively under-geared and attempt to wall-to-wall pull, and die in about 2 seconds. Hell, even when they go in with proper gear, many players just aren't expecting the trash to hit nearly as hard as it does.

As a resident of Primal, yeah the results were about what I expected. Far as Dynamis goes, I have an alt over there and if you ever need to queue for a duty you have much better odds filling via PF than duty finder.

As a WHM on Crystal, I was thinking it'd be fun to play on Primal and put all that mechanic knowledge to good use, but trying to help someone who won't help themselves is exhausting, demeaning, and maybe letting them lay on the floor could encourage them to look at the fight instead of their hotbars...

I do feel bad for the folks playing on dynamis trying to get queues to pop. They need more people, and they need for the people who are there to stop traveling to different datacenters for queues. It's just creating a self-fulfilling loop; can't get queues to pop on dynamis > go to a different datacenter for queues > less people queueing on dynamis > can't get queues to pop dynamis.
Same, my character that is now on Goblin startered on Marlilth, and I was going to Crystal daily to do my dailies in order to get the queue to pop that day. I honestly feel SE should have added the servers to Crystal, Primal and Aether instead of making another DC.

In E11 when the mist phase starts and you search for the boss clones on the edges. I see a lot of people do that early but it's not needed/doesn't work: the clones aren't in position until somewhat "late" in the mist phase so there's no point searching for them until you see them in the enemy list.
As a result, it might be confusing if you run all around the place and see nothing.
I dont know if you're going as a healer for the quick queues, but I think as a DPS the results could be different; since you don't have much interference in the fight. a healer that knows what they're doing can save a bad run
These were mostly instant death mechanics where being a healer can help save the run, but it can't help save any individual at one time. I assume he went on healer for that reason. And the queue times.
As an Aether resident, I'm surprised with the showing we had. Granted, I died like 3 times alone my first time in Menagerie. Also, as a lala, that lala army on Dynamis was amazing.
They roam around all the time. I am wondering if this was recorded the same evening I was performing on the Gridania plaza on Hali and they surrounded me.
Lala Line (Savage) was more interesting than traditional Shinryu DF anyway.

Ok. I had to stop at 3:39 bc I was in tears with some dysfunctional mix of remembered laughter and tears. I ran these one time with a nearly full party and got carried let’s be real. The second time I took one for the team and ran WHM even tho this is my first mmo experience and in all reality as a healer I dance between mediocre and “pleb” when I am sober. This night though? Oh no. I was having IRL stuff and was wasted but yanno QUEUE times at 3am SO I healed. Badly. For the entire set lol. That one little cliff dive and it’s accompanying zoom just sent me. Thank you for that little moment ❤️ bc one little thing can trigger such memories for us all.

Suggestion:
Play as a tank and see how low your health goes before you are healed. Basically, see which DC has the most aggressive (yet competent) healers.

thinking about when i had to holmgang in p7 normal bc the healer almost let me die to auto attacks 💀even after i had done my self heals, and even then they just gave me regen as my heal 💀
also, most of the dynamis population is on the other three data centers due to how dead dynamis is rn.
Yeah Dynamis can be a lot of waiting, the only way I’ve been getting things done is exclusively through party finder.
I just feel like Dynamis was introduced too little too late, especially in a post-Data Center Travel time. It's great to have more housing availability, and that their PF game is also strong. But it's really painful to see that queue times for duties are abysmal because people just outsource their DF'ing to literally any other DC, and that just continues to contribute to the bad DF times as a result. :(
You gotta try Mothercrystal trial in this series. I played it on all NA DC's (except Dynamis) in DF a few times each. Its been about 50/50 in terms of first pull success rates. It mostly comes down to if there's enough bodies on the Lightwave stack or if healers are capable of giga-healing through low body count (Tank LBs also have saved a few runs).

On the topic of knockbacks in Eden, theres a few more which are notorious for cleaning up the party list. E4 car/mega landslide and E8 heavenly strike come to mind for those, to a lesser extend can also happen in E3

I've had whole groups but me die to the pushes on titan, and as a solo warrior I was capable of soloing it, sure. The problem is that I don't WANT to have to kill him from 70% lol

As someone on the Crystal Data Center (specifically the Diabolos server), I salute my Crystal brethren for doing us all proud (except for that Machinist....I kid, I kid!)! :P And that Lalafell army bit was way funnier than I expected! XD

Player from primal here: when I did shinryu normal for the MSQ, my group wiped 10x before the kill, most of the wipes where due the 2 tanks refusing to do the mechanics and I only did stick with that group bc the queue took almost 30 minutes

The party's damage was so inconsistent that no one could figure out the timing for the shield.

I've noticed that Dynamis has a ton of problems with their queues, most people leaves for other DCs just to get better queues. That just piles up to fewer and fewer people queueing on Dynamis.
You know, now it feels as though everything makes sense being on Primal. My world feels so much clearer after this video.
Been doing my 2k mentor duties for the achievement on primal. And ima just reaffirm: you see some shit on those sb and shb leveling trials. (People not using duty action in lakhsmii, tidal wave, tsukuyomi can just be a mess, dancing plague tanks don’t pick up adds, vaughthry people don’t kill the tethered add) you get the point. Kinda just gotta help people the best you can, and sometimes drag dead bodies to the end
i play on primal and the last time i had a genuinely awful duty roulette experience was in 6.0. i used to have way more df disasters on normal mode duties during ShB fsr. for like the past year the worst ive experienced is low dps and/or new ppl who just don't know mechs yet but listen when explained to
I moved to Dynamis, and I tend to have to do all my trials, PvP, etc. on Crystal because there's nobody doing anything remotely close to a high-level content on the DC.
I'm hoping things pick up on the next expac, as players migrate over for the housing.

As someone in the probably pretty small minority of very (relatively) experienced players that moved to Dynamis (from Primal originally) but not for housing, I've generally found that queueing for anything specific later in the game via DF is a fool's errand. PF, on the other hand, can and will at least fill rather quickly during prime time for tons of things. It still is a major hindrance that the primary way of getting into content quickly basically just doesn't function the same way as it does for people on other DCs, but roulette times at least outside of a few specific ones are actually getting better in my small anecdotal experience. So, for the choice I made, I've actually been happy and enjoying myself. I still think it's a problem they need to address pretty fervently as the incentives they have provided aren't really enough to bring Dynamis up to speed yet.

as a Crystal Goblin player myself that' wasn't such a surprise, I'd say that a fairly low percentage go badly, but when they do, they certainly do so in style sometimes.

The new Aetherochemical Research facility always seems to get someone killed if not wipe the party. I've had it wipe my party nearly 3 times before the group could clear it (healer just couldnt stay alive). I'd 100% suggest giving that one a try.

I always thought Crystal was bad but the one time I tried to do Eureka Orthos on Primal my tank died about 3 to 4 times per floor. It was somewhat entertaining until 71+ where I was happy that we finally wiped.
Hahahaha that "Primal, better luck next time" should have been something more of a "Primal, please, get your sh*t together". I play in primal and i see a lot of deaths in super easy duties.

Good call. Had to run this a bunch during the early days on Dynamis, as all of the transfere/sprouts were leveling. Probably the deadliest dungeon.
I personally like queueing "problematic" duties as a healer because they give me more to have fun with. My big recommendations are Ruby Weapon, E7, Ridorana, Paradigm's Breach, Cruise Chaser, O7, E10, and maybe E9.
The current state of the data centers is very sad right now. Dynamis can't pop anything, and PF is nuked everywhere but Aether. Three quarters of the people I raided with on Crystal have moved to Aether to have access to retainers and their Islands while they're in PF, and all but two people who moved to Dynamis have moved back to any other data center because Dynamis is dead on arrival.

I'm a healer main native to primal, and I'll just say there have been some instances (yes, plural) in duty finder where I've had to use Rescue off cooldown for the enitrty of the instance.
Usually if someone needs something in Dynamis, they will put up a PF and we'll shout it out in NN so it can get filled. We just don't have enough people to fill/queue for roulettes. People usually go to Aether or Primal to get roulettes done.
I never understood the pain of Duty Finder until I leveled my healers, outside of the early stages where I was still getting used to healing and on occasion let everyone die on Aurum Vale I had to break my back just keeping the DPS alive. Like holy hell dps just don't care on Primal for some reason, they will legit ignore mechanics to such a degree that I just cannot accept that they aren't doing it on purpose.
That healer moment of "aren't you going to get that? I just got the other one" is so painfully true.

Dynamis is like Coeurl back in the 2.0 days before server merger. Back then, Gilgamesh and Coeurl was on the same datacenter.

Yeah the queue times on Dynamis are pretty terrible. My alt is there and when I queued for Cyrcus Tower it took over an hour a couple months ago. It's a catch 22 of if you want good queue times you have to go to one of the other data centers but if you do you're contributing to the problem of long queue times on the Dynamis DC.
Go to Alexander raid which has the gorilla hitting the bomb away from the party and turning to birds to survive earthquake. The other one was the hands thing which has lava rising on one of the four quadrants. Those two has never failed to (at least from my experience) kill someone.

It's interesting to see Dynamis still so dead. I can't help but think it was kind of a pointless addition that only really served to provide more housing and I kind of wish that had just been done on the already populated datacenters. Maybe once an expansion hits people will not want to DC travel to do content due to queue times and will try to actually do content on Dynamis. I feel like it's a compounding effect at the moment where people only went to Dynamis for housing and then everyone just goes back to their original DC to hang out making queues bad so everyone else trying to play on Dynamis has to follow the trend it just snowballs.
Nothing in this game is funnier than just watching health bars vanish. Theres something just so cathartic about people getting clobbered.

I’m on primal and the worst duties I’ve done in recent memory were actually this past week. I got Royal city of rabanastre and the orbonne monastery. They were both just outright miserable to play because of a combination of new players and the content drought has made above average players more scarce.

My FC moved to Dynamis from aether for housing any time we want to do anything duty finder or otherwise that isnt with a full party we visit aether

Any time I've ever gotten cruise chaser in roulettes (on crystal datacenter), it's been a complete disaster. multiple full party wipes, people rage quitting. it's happened more than once
Aurum vale might be a fun one to check out as a dps, to see how the first room goes
Megadeath in Weeping City ALWAYS catches people off guard... at least on Primal. After seeing this I'm starting to think that we're the exception and not the rule. I can't believe Sly PFs Savage on this DC LOL
Can confirm it catches people off guard on Crystal. Anywhere from 2-8 people the first time, then gradually fewer until he does that cast where you have to Zombify before he even starts casting Megadeth. That gets about 2-8 people again.
That said, the airship fight on Dun Scaith has similar levels of mass death :D
Primal also seems to get a lot of returning players, and now travelers. I see more people now with the 'traveler' dead in PF on primal. Also to be fair many from primal also go over to Aether now. It would have been a far better 'test' of Data Centers before DC travel was a thing. Or just after it started.

I dunno if you're taking suggestions for 4 mans, but Lost City of Amdapor's final boss is a WALL if people don't know how it's done. Plus its early in the experience so maybe Dynamis might get in on the action.
I have characters on all NA DC's but my main is on Primal and I can confirm that what you experienced is very normal. In fact I'm kind of surprised that there were so few deaths on Primal, those fights usually go a lot worse.
Also when it comes to the new DC it's kind of a self fulfilling problem. The queue times are terrible so people go to other servers to do their quest queue's for specific dungeons causing the roulette queue times to raise so then people go to other DC's for their dailies making the problem even worse. All of which results in what you saw. For reference I have a character on Halicarnassus, that I take to other DC's to queue for anything above level 50 MSQ.
Primal is always a mixed bag. Sometimes you get a full party of competent players, and then other times you get a party players who only hit their dps buttons and don’t even look at their screens to run the content
