Compress to me feels like one of those characters where while he isn’t the strongest he is the one character where if you gave him a gun he’d become one of the strongest, in the anime his prosthetic arm even shows this as being able to shoot anything as the speed of a bullet that can instantly expand to full size is insane, remember the Ant-man meme?
Funny thing is that in the One's Justice 2 game they had Mr. Compress' specials utilize a marble firing gun built into his cane. Seems you're not the only one that was thinking about this!
As a compress player main myself people say he’s no skill all the time. In reality compress in the current meta is one of the most high skill ceiling characters. His damage comes from 1 move he’s EXTREMELY level expensive his projectile in order to even be good usually have lvl7 and it’s awkward to aim and even with the armor you can still be tracked or hit out of the teleport
A spectacular show! But, yeah.. Unfortunately Compress has suffered throughout the season. The tuning system has helped everyone minus him. He's still good but, unfortunately Compress has been kicked off of the stage.
They need to make him get his second gamma at lvl 7 and make his special action a little faster, and perhaps give him his trucks at lvl 6 just for a quality of life change.
Sorry, Compress, the tuning system drove me away from this game because I don't want to spend hours or money on something that would 'improve' things only to find out it doesn't work for me. Time to perform a magical escape act to a better game!

Having your main struggle with meta is what i feel with ibara. I've been playing her since season 2, but now i just can't enjoy the game with her anymore, i switched to pres mic 😂
@Mirosuperhero its not a fun buff When you get focused by 3 different teams and can't run away because you can bring your teammates back twice now. I've always made ibara work, but now that there's nejire, strike kiri, and alot of other characters that just simple outclass Ibara, she's nearly unplayable
TrashJunkies is my favorite washed up Compress main! thanks for the video :D even if he's not as great If I could change something about compress is for his beta to be able to store projectiles to throw later on mid alpha alpha spam on enemies with shield (and nerf alpha damage, increase ammo count). change the second gamma unlock to level 4 unlock. I think it would make him a better support (can hold enemies like AFO with trucks easier), be a little less level dependant and have more skill expression with the stored betas.
Mr. Compress needs a new skill set, if needed they could buff his alpha and give it longer range, and give a him an extra gamma, so he would have a better chance against the airbourne characters.
He is my secondary main and I have to say I like how his alpha is different from the others, yes its hard to hit flying charcaters but its fine to have good mtachups and bad matchups against some characters, the 1 thing I would change is his beta, make it so you can roll out of it. This gives him a more safe option to make it out of the early game until you level up your alpha. This doesnt make him op and its ok like that.
Yeah old map is very bad for compress since the loot is very scarce compared to city yellow shigi tuning is actually a really cheap option for compress tho ! since it’s useful even on the base outfit

Compress as a character is forgettable even more so in the current airborne meta the only real things he got that help him are alpha and gamma trucks are crazy and adding knockback to his getaway made him better but its not enough when every character as of late got a damn 401k in the sky
Why don´t you try tunning a costume that lowers the cooldown on his Gamma? That way you can use it more and there should at least be a PUR costume that has Gamma cooldown on level 4.
Can we maybe mix in ranked an unranked. I myself hate praying on ppl that are playing the game for the first time. Meanwhile your zipping through the air deleting lvl 1 handbook bronze ppl. I’m solo Q 98% of the time so usually I am switching between the two. Time is also an issue I’m sure, just saying vids are better from a ranked perspective.👍🏾✌🏾
