We shouldn't missguide or confuse the students regarding BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology. BSc Engineering Technology is a modified name of B. Tech Honour Degree. Now, PEC is an autonomous body whereas the NTC is a sub division or department of PEC. If NTC takes any decision for the betterment of B. Tech Degree holders, PEC has the authority to reject the NTC decision any time. BSc Engg or BE degree is recognized by PEC and almost all over the world with reference to PEC correspondings with other countries Engineering councils. But B.Tech Honours degree or BSc Engineering Technology degree didn't recognized by PEC and many countries of the world except India, Sri Lanka & England UET Councils etc. Even after changing the name of B. Tech Honour degree as BSc Engineering Technology degree, and change of its curriculars, the PEC never recognises and will not recognise it, whereas the NTC will continue its working on other areas as per instruction and guideline of PEC. As per PEC fabricated theory, if any student got DAE, he has no right to get admission in BSc Engineering for the whole life until and unless he possesses the FSc Certificate. Secondly, if any student passed DAE and B. Tech Honour or BSc Engineering Technology, he has no right to be called as an Engineer. But PEC don't know that talent is not dumped in BSc Engineering or in BSc Engineering Technology, it is totally God Giffted. I have experienced many so called engineers who couldn't spelling the institutions, they passed their degree, similarly the same case experienced with B.Tech degree or BSc Engineering Technology degree. In open market, the set of Attitude, Knowledge and Skills works and not the degrees, degrees are only the licenses to enter in market. So, it is thetefore suggested, there must be a justice with the Pakistani students, 1- Admission should be on open merit system for both DAE and FSc as in practice at IIU Islamabad. 2 - PEC registration should be open for all BSc, BE, B. Tech Hons & BSc Engineering Technology Degrees as in practice in our neighbouring countries. Other wise there is no future of B.Tech Hons or BSc Engineering Technology Degres in Pakistan and this programme should be closed instead of playing with the future of innocent and poor students of Pakistan. First of all I want to say that without technologist as well as engineers industry can never run , but in Pakistan sad reality is that engineers don't have proper concepts regarding their field so they just usually get jobs in irrelevant field .But in industries which duties should be done by technologist engineer takes that place but still they create shit , they reply us that we have strong theory background , but when you will ask them any basic question they will not be able to give correct answer , this is why because parents force their children to become either an engineer or doctor , and that's not gonna happen,if they succeed to become engineer or whatever ,they are never paid well.Technology degree should be continued because we need both engineers and technologist and both should do their own duty.Just like eye has its own importance , ear and nose have different function they can't replace one another , same here engineer or technologist can never replace each other we need both.If your knowledge is limited so please at least don't misguide students.

B-Tech is best because these people are practically most effective in pratical engineering.In pakistan Pec has monopoly to promote engineering but on global level b-tech has more value , Australian engineering council offers b-tech holders two status first one is Engineer and Second is Technologist.
